Wang Xiaolan gazed at the girl before her, a wave of regret welling up in her heart. This girl was so beautiful, it would be a shame if her disability ruined her beauty. Fortunately, she possessed a magical space that contained everything, especially various special medicines specially prepared for those seriously injured soldiers.
Just as Wang Xiaolan's thoughts were wandering, the girl suddenly asked, "Doctor Wang, is there any hope for my leg?" Her voice trembled slightly.
This question instantly brought Wang Xiaolan back to reality. She calmed herself down, looked into the girl's expectant eyes, and said softly, "Don't worry, I will do my best to heal you. What's your name?"
After hearing what Wang Xiaolan said, she tearfully said, "Thank you! My name is Zhang Tingting. I'm a battlefield paramedic."
Wang Xiaolan wrote her name on it with a pen and said, "What a nice name. Tingting, don't worry, I've checked it out, and you will be fine."
After that, she came to the last injured person and said, "These should be yours?"
The girl shook her head and said disappointedly, "This is not mine."
Wang Xiaolan said in surprise, "It's not yours? Are you sure?"
She nodded, a look of extreme disappointment on her face.
Wang Xiaolan looked at her, her eyes revealing a hint of anxiety, but she still comforted her softly: "Don't worry, I'll go in and look for it again, maybe I can find something else."
After saying that, Wang Xiaolan reached into the ice cave again without hesitation and groped around carefully. After a while, she seemed to touch something, and a glimmer of hope appeared on her face.
She slowly pulled her hand out of the ice hole, tightly holding a few limbs with some ice chips on them.
Wang Xiaolan walked up to her, placed the body parts on the ground, and asked, "Take a look and see if these are yours."
She looked closely and her face turned pale instantly. Her lips trembled slightly as she said, "This... this leg is mine, but this arm... is not mine." As she spoke, her eyes gradually became moist and tears welled up in her eyes, as if they were about to fall at any time.
Seeing this, Wang Xiaolan quickly comforted him, "Don't cry, don't cry. I'll go in and look for you again. If I really can't find your hands, I'll find a way for you to have a pair of hands again. Of course, if you can find your own hands, that would be even better."
After that, Wang Xiaolan reached in and fumbled for a while, then found two arms and limbs. She walked over and asked, "Are these two yours?"
The girl nodded and said, "It's mine."
"May I have your name?"
"My name is Huang Lili."
Wang Xiaolan stared at her arm with a look of worry on her face, as if she could see through the skin to the stump underneath. She gently measured the size of her arm with her fingers.
After a while, Wang Xiaolan finally spoke up. "Judging from the remaining limbs, the same tragedy as yours happened before. Judging by the necrotic tissue, it's been a long time. It's very likely that they were all killed."
Her voice was filled with anger and grief, moving everyone. She then cursed fiercely, "These damned beasts have absolutely no humanity! If I were to come across them, I would cut them into pieces to vent my hatred!"
At this moment, the girls' minds flashed back to the days and nights of torture, and their anger surged like a tide.
They gritted their teeth and cursed word by word: "I will never forget the man who hurt me! There is a scar on his face, a mark of his sin!"
Just as they were cursing indignantly, suddenly, a creepy laugh came from behind them. This laugh was like coming from hell, making people shudder.
Wang Xiaolan shuddered and turned her head sharply. Sure enough, the scarred man was standing there, a ferocious smile on his face. In his hand was a gleaming dagger, the sharp blade gleaming with a chilling light in the moonlight.
As soon as the scarred man saw Wang Xiaolan, a hint of joy flashed in his eyes. He grinned, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth, and muttered some incomprehensible words, full of evil and lust.
This man, his face covered in hideous scars, was engaged in a fierce exchange of fire with our troops. The sounds of gunfire and shouts of killing intertwined, creating an extremely tense scene. However, in the midst of this intense battle, a part of him seemed unable to endure, as if an uncontrollable urge was surging within him.
So, he took advantage of the break in the battle and slipped out of the firefight like a cunning mouse, trying to avoid everyone's sight and satisfy his evil needs.
However, fate is always full of drama. When he sneaked into the cave, he unexpectedly ran into the beautiful Wang Xiaolan. The scarred man's eyes suddenly lit up.
Somewhere in his body, like a powder keg that had exploded, roared and burst through him. His eyes turned bloodshot, like an enraged beast ready to unleash its full instincts. He suddenly rushed towards Wang Xiaolan.
Liu Xiujuan and others looked at the scene in horror. They saw the terrifying figure approaching Wang Xiaolan step by step. Their heartbeats accelerated rapidly, as if they could hear each other's heartbeats.
"Doctor Wang, run! Don't worry about us!" Liu Xiujuan shouted at the top of her lungs, her voice filled with fear and despair.
However, facing this life-or-death moment, Wang Xiaolan remained remarkably calm. She stood still, not even moving an inch, not even her eyes showing the slightest flicker.
Just when Liu Xiujuan and the others thought Wang Xiaolan would follow their advice and run away, something unexpected happened. Wang Xiaolan's mouth suddenly turned up slightly, outlining a cold smile.
Just when the scarred man was about to pounce on Wang Xiaolan with his fangs and claws bared like a hungry tiger, Wang Xiaolan remained calm and waved her arm lightly. A silver light flashed like lightning and flew past at lightning speed.
In an instant, there was a crisp "ding" sound, and the silver needle seemed to have eyes, piercing the scarred man's wrist exactly. The scarred man suddenly felt a piercing pain in his wrist, as if being bitten by thousands of ants at the same time, and he couldn't help but tremble all over.
The sudden severe pain caused the scarred man to completely lose control of the dagger. The dagger that was originally tightly held in his hand fell straight to the ground with a "clang" sound, just like a kite with a broken string, making a crisp impact sound.
