Chapter 29 Discovering the Secret of the Golden Flower

"What, what happened to my mother?" Shi Bulian asked anxiously.

"Mom had a terrible stomachache. I searched everywhere in the village for you. People said you were making a fuss here. Now look what happened. Dad and second brother are not here, and you are acting like this again. I am so worried."

Taohua said as she stamped her feet.

When Hehua heard that her mother was dying, she left Shi Bulian and ran home quickly.

Shi Bulian tried several times to stand up, but his legs were too weak to move. He was so anxious that he was sweating profusely. He begged, "Auntie, I was wrong. Please let me go!"

"Big sister, last time, you saved my second brother. Now my mother is sick, can you please let my eldest brother go, okay?" Taohua looked at Wang Xiaolan, her eyes full of pleading.

This is the youngest daughter of the Shi family, Shi Taohua, 12 years old, just graduated from elementary school, sensible and kind.

"Okay, for your sake, I'll let him go for now."

Wang Xiaolan turned around, walked up to Shi Bulian, kicked him, glared at him fiercely and said, "You can leave now."

"What? That's it." He asked in disbelief.

Wang Xiaolan walked towards home without looking back, leaving behind a few words.

"You can sit as long as you want. I can't control you."

Taohua pulled Shi Bulian's right hand and said, "Brother, get up, hurry up and walk..."

After these troublemakers left, Wang Xiaolan came out of the house with a broom. Looking at the messy yard, she sighed and started cleaning.

At this time, Huang Jinhua, who lives next door, was humming a tune in the yard while fiddling with herbs. From time to time, she said in a mocking tone, "When a person is unlucky, even drinking cold water will get stuck in his teeth."

Wang Xiaolan ignored her and continued to busy herself with her own things.

Just as she was about to throw away the garbage, she accidentally caught a glimpse of the herbs in Huang Jinhua's hand. Although they were 70% dried, their original appearance could still be seen. She suddenly remembered the "rat horse vine" that the old herbalist taught her.

She thought that this herb could both cure diseases and harm people, and it must not remain in her hands.

Just as she was racking her brains, thinking about how to get in.

Just then, Huang Jinhua came out of the house carrying a hoe, looking at the medicinal herbs she had just dried as she walked.

Seeing that she had gone far away, Wang Xiaolan took advantage of the fact that no one was around and threw the "Rat Horse Vine" into the space.

Then, she also entered the space and asked the robot to test the object. The result was exactly the same as the composition of the "rat horse vine" that Wang Xiaolan brought back from the mountains.

In other words, both poisoning incidents were committed by Huang Jinhua alone, and the death of Zhao Lihan's mother was also related to her.

It is said that when she was young, she had an affair with her distant cousin, but her cousin was already married at that time and it was impossible for him to marry her.

When her first husband found out about this shameful incident, he wanted to divorce her. Huang Jinhua disagreed and refused to leave the house. In a fit of rage, her ex-husband kicked her out of the house.

The ex-husband soon married another woman and died of poisoning on the night of the wedding. The newlywed wife could not stand the false accusations from others, and the next day, the bride committed suicide by hanging herself.

Combining these things together, Huang Jinhua is the most likely suspect, but it is very difficult to bring her to justice. Modern crime-solving technology is far from being as advanced as that of the 21st century.

At this moment, Huang Jinhua's voice came from outside.

Wang Xiaolan hurriedly came out of the space.

She stood in the house and saw Huang Jinhua rummaging around in the yard, looking anxious. Wang Xiaolan sneered and cursed inwardly, "Old witch, you've done so many evil things. Sooner or later, you'll fall into my hands."

Huang Jinhua was so angry that her face turned blue because she couldn't find her treasure. She put her hands on her hips and cursed loudly in the yard, attracting many villagers to watch the fun.

The onlookers were talking about it.

"The Zhao family has many strange things going on. What happened this time that angered the Queen Mother?"

Wang Xiaolan walked out of the room calmly.

As soon as she saw Wang Xiaolan, she started to accuse her angrily.

"You little bitch, you stole my things."

Wang Xiaolan ignored her question and went about cleaning up the debris in the yard.

Huang Jinhua was getting more and more angry as she cursed: "Little bitch, say something, did you steal it?"

"Mr. Zhao, what treasures do you have in your house that are worth stealing?" the villagers asked.

"Old witch, can you please be more kind when you speak? You always accuse me of stealing. I don't even care about your things. Even if you gave them to me, I wouldn't bother to accept them." Wang Xiaolan said slowly.

“You, you…”

Golden Flower, she knew what it was, but she didn't dare say it out loud. This was the herb she had brought back from the mountains with great difficulty. She had finally dried it, but it was gone in the blink of an eye. She was anxious and angry, and could only suspect that Wang Xiaolan had stolen it.

"You can't even explain it yourself, isn't this unreasonable?"

At this time, the captain happened to pass by and said, "Hey, Aunt Zhao, what's wrong with you?"

"Captain, she said something was missing from her yard and blamed me. When I asked her what it was, she couldn't tell me. Isn't this just looking for trouble?" Wang Xiaolan said as she cleaned the yard.

"Old Zhao's family is noisy all day long. Don't you find it annoying? I am tired of it too. Stop picking on others endlessly. Do you act like an elder? I advise you to calm down. If everyone in our village is like you, how can I still work?"

Huang Jinhua was so angry after hearing what the captain said that she could only stare blankly and turned back into the house.

At this time, the sound of a horn "beep, beep" was heard.
