Just then, the voice of the salesperson inside the counter was heard.
Wang Xiaolan listened to their conversation with her ears perked up.
The salesperson looked at the large bag of snacks they were carrying and couldn't help but ask, "Are you buying so many snacks to eat as meals?"
Hearing this, Liu Tingting laughed and asked, "Can this be eaten as a meal?" Then, with a happy smile on her face, she explained, "These are snacks that my husband prepared for me because he was afraid that I would be hungry at night!" After that, she winked at the salesperson mischievously, as if showing off that she had a considerate and good husband.
The salesperson opened her mouth in surprise and said in disbelief, "He's actually your husband? I thought you two were father and daughter! No wonder he dotes on you so much."
After hearing this, Liu Tingting showed a smug smile on her face. She deliberately tilted her head and looked at the man next to her mischievously.
The man stared at the salesperson intently, his face so gloomy it looked like water could drip out of it. He asked in a cold tone, "Do I look that old?"
Seeing the man’s face was as black as charcoal, the salesperson was so scared that he dared not speak and just shook his head.
The man picked up the things on the counter with a gloomy face, his eyes full of resentment and anger. He glared at the salesperson fiercely, as if he wanted to eat her alive. Then he put his arms around Liu Tingting's slender and soft waist and strode out of the department store.
