I felt a profound sense of powerlessness, knowing that even with my utmost effort, I was powerless to make any changes with this ordinary body.
Strolling through the streets of Beijing, I couldn't find a corner that would comfort me.
I felt like a stray rat on the street, completely out of place in this bustling place.
Disheartened, I finally chose to leave the capital, hoping to find a solution to the problem.
I long to save this wounded world, and also to offer some comfort to the elderly.
After searching for a while, I came to a temple.
The temple looks magnificent and is very popular, attracting many believers to come and burn incense and worship Buddha.
I knelt before the Buddha statue with utmost devotion, pleading with it to save all living beings, but I received no response.
I don't understand why it can comfortably enjoy the offerings from everyone, yet still sit here so leisurely.
In my anger, I even wanted to demolish the temple, but I ultimately restrained myself from the impulse.
Because I know that the real source of the trouble is not here.
I have heard that if one wishes to acquire extraordinary abilities, one must go to a mountain gate to seek enlightenment and cultivate oneself.
However, when I finally arrived at the legendary Immortal Mountain after a long and arduous journey, all I saw was a desolate and dilapidated landscape, much like the broken and decaying state of the world.
Nevertheless, I decided to take a stroll through the ruins of the Taoist temple.
Perhaps it was fate, but I unexpectedly discovered a large number of books in the basement of the Taoist temple.
I excitedly stuffed them all into my cloth bag, because I firmly believed that these books might very well become the cure for the world's ailments.
So, without hesitation, I embarked on another journey, continuing to seek out other mountain gates, eager to learn some real skills.
During my long journey, I studied the knowledge in those books day and night, and gradually came to understand it thoroughly. Gradually, I began to understand the true meaning of the books.
These books cover the mysteries of many fields, including Qi cultivation methods, the principles of heaven and earth, medicine and divination, and the relationship between heaven, earth, and man.
After careful consideration, I have summarized the wisdom in the book into a six-word mantra: Heaven and Earth, Yin and Yang, Life and Death.
With this new understanding and expectation, I finally found the second mountain gate – Longhu Mountain.
Upon arriving at the foot of the mountain, they were blocked by a person.
“Young lady, this is a forbidden area of Longhu Mountain. Outsiders are not allowed to enter without permission. Please leave immediately.” His tone was firm, showing no intention of making an exception.
My brows furrowed slightly, and my eyes revealed a hint of displeasure and determination.
I came here with a very clear purpose—to find a way to save the world, but I have encountered obstacles.
"I have come to seek a way to save the world, please let me in."
My clear and firm voice reached the two young Taoist priests at the door.
However, after exchanging glances, they still showed no sign of letting them pass.
“Young lady, we do not have the method of salvation you are looking for here. If you insist on not leaving, then we will have no choice but to ask you to leave the mountain,” one of the young Taoist priests replied curtly.
My gaze turned cold, and a surge of discontent welled up within me.
I came here with a sincere heart to seek knowledge and ask questions, but I was met with such indifferent treatment.
These people clearly possess abilities, yet they choose to hide in this corner, turning a blind eye to the suffering in the world.
I stopped arguing with them and resolutely stepped into the mountain gate.
Seeing this, the two young Taoist priests hurriedly reached out and tried to grab my arms to stop me from moving forward.
However, I quickly raised my finger and accurately pressed the acupoints on their bodies.
They instantly collapsed to the ground, completely powerless to resist.
For someone as proficient in the Five Arts as I am, these Taoist priests who only know a few fancy moves are no match for me at all.
I easily broke through their defenses and successfully entered the mountain gate.
After entering the mountain gate, I found that it was unusually spacious, obviously capable of accommodating a considerable number of people.
The scene before me made me realize that there might be some unknown secrets and powers hidden here.
I swaggered around Longhu Mountain as if this were my home, completely unconcerned about the stares of others.
Before long, people noticed my presence as a stranger and were quite surprised by my appearance.
"How did you get in?" one of them shouted.
"Aren't there any disciples guarding the gate today?" another person chimed in.
Faced with their questioning, I didn't hide anything, but answered very honestly: "Yes, but I confused myself."
"But don't worry, he'll be fine. He should wake up in a little while."
Upon hearing my answer, these people were clearly dissatisfied, and some were even angry.
They all criticized my behavior as too reckless, daring to trespass into the forbidden area of Longhu Mountain.
"I want to see your leader, I've heard he's called the Celestial Master." Ignoring their accusations, I stated my purpose directly.
However, my words completely enraged them.
Without saying a word, they prepared to attack me, seemingly wanting to teach me a lesson.
I couldn't help but feel confused, not understanding why people here were so irritable. Couldn't they communicate properly?
Seeing that I couldn't communicate with them, I lost my patience.
Since words cannot solve the problem, then we can only let our actions speak for themselves.
So I decided to strike first and quickly knocked them all unconscious.
Of course, to avoid causing unnecessary trouble, I specifically left one person behind to guide me.
