Side Story: Demon World Prequel

"I heard you've gotten into trouble again?"

Inside the Demon Palace, on the throne, the Demon Emperor, with a pair of demonic horns, raised his eyes and glared angrily.

As for why he looked up, it was because there was a little girl standing in front of him, standing with her hands on her hips and glaring at him.

"Old man, I have a question for you!"

"Was climbing the cliff considered causing trouble?"

The Demon Emperor was taken aback by the girl's question, then shook his head.

"Am I in trouble if I play beanbag toss with other people?"

The Demon Emperor frowned slightly but still shook his head.

"Then why are you telling me that I got into trouble for playing beanbag toss with others on the cliff?"

The Demon Emperor was so angry that his beard bristled, and he pointed at the girl before him:

"Is this your reason for throwing the Grand Elder's grandson off a cliff?"

"If I had your silver tongue to twist the truth, I would have been the Jade Emperor long ago!"

"Even if you argue until the end of time, you still have to come with me to the Grand Elder's house to apologize."

The girl turned and snorted coldly, "No!"

"If you're bad at it, practice more; if you can't handle it, don't play!"

"He can't beat me, so why should I apologize?"

The Demon King, sitting on the throne, was furious, but he was powerless to do anything about his daughter.

"My dear little aunt, I'm begging you, please?"

"With your antics, even the Grand Elder doesn't want to play chess with me anymore. I just sit here all day with nothing to do. Can't you have some pity on Father Emperor?"

The girl still pouted: "No, unless... you let me go to the human world to play."

"No, absolutely not! If you go to the mortal realm, who knows what kind of chaos you'll wreak on it!" The Demon Emperor shuddered. His daughter wasn't the docile type; she would definitely cause a huge disturbance if she went to the mortal realm.

The girl's big eyes darted around: "If you let me go to the mortal world, I'll apologize; otherwise, forget it."

Now even the Demon Emperor was in a bit of a predicament; his position as the ruler of the Demon Realm was far too stifling.

He was a powerful ruler, and even the Ten Kings of Hell and the Asura Gods had to bow their heads before him. Yet, he was completely controlled by his daughter.

“It’s definitely not right for you to go to the human world like this. I can seal your memories and wait for the right time to let you reconnect with your body. In the meantime, before you get the demonic energy, you will be no different from an ordinary human. You should think it over.”

This is the biggest concession the Demon Emperor can make.

"You will gain all your memories of the human world, but for you in the human world, it is just a very short life process. After you die in the human world, or after you obtain demonic energy, your demonic soul will guide you back. I will also leave you helpers in the mortal world so that you will not die due to accidents."

Even so, would you still choose to go to the human world?

After considering it for a moment, the girl finally nodded...

Before the Demon Realm Teleportation Gate, the entrances to various realms were shrouded in demonic energy.

"Dad, is this the gate to the human world?"

The girl pointed to one of the portals, whose energy fluctuations were extremely weak.

The Demon Emperor's expression was somewhat serious, as if he was doing something very difficult: after his daughter entered the human realm, his true form would remain in the demon realm.

However, the mere sight of the fragments was enough to give the Demon Emperor a headache.

"Then I'll head over first?"

"Go, go. Human lifespan is only a few decades. You will be back soon," the Demon Emperor replied calmly.

Where is this?

Why is it so desolate?

The girl lay on a grassy field, desolate and boundless.
