I shook my head, feeling a little guilty: "That's different. You almost died here because of me."

Wu Shi reached out and gave me another gentle pat on the head:

"Okay, who am I? I'm Wu Shi'e. How could I be in trouble?"

"If you really feel bad about it, just call me 'Senior Brother' sweetly twice."

Wu Shi scratched his head: "Aren't you going to call me? I'm actually looking forward to it."

Wu Shi froze, staring at me silently.

I could feel his tension; his Adam's apple bobbed up and down with each swallow.

"Senior brother..."

As soon as I said it, I felt my cheeks burning, so I quickly turned my head away and went back to the living room to find Xixi.

I couldn't see what Wu Shi's expression was like, but I imagine it must have been quite something!
