Volume Two: The Fierce-Toothed and Clawed Advisor, Chapter 129

"Yes, the Heaven and Earth Church has gone too far this time. I sensed something was wrong, but I was in the snowy mountains before, and it took me some time to get back. I still couldn't stop them in time."

“Arrays have been set up all over the country. It seems the cultists are about to open the gates.” The advisor sighed.

Both the master and the senior master frowned simultaneously: "Open the door? Open what door?"

The advisor walked to a chair and sat down, his expression turning serious: "The Ghost Gate of both the Yin and Yang realms!"

"Only now do I understand the purpose of these cultists; they want to disrupt the balance and keep the gates of hell open forever!"

"It seems that the Heaven and Earth Church has a complicated background. They must be either madmen or evil spirits!"

“Once the balance between the Yin and Yang realms is disrupted, the Yang world will be in chaos.”

Everyone was startled. Senior Jiang walked over from the side and gave the advisor a Taoist salute.

According to seniority, Senior Jiang and the Master should be of the same generation, which is quite obvious. The Master is older than Senior Jiang.

"You mean their ultimate goal is to destroy the Gate of Hell?"

"Those are simply too audacious. You know, not only us, but even the underworld has its own administrators."

"Aren't they afraid of angering that person with these actions?"

The advisor stroked his beard and said, "Do you think that among so many Kings of Hell in the underworld, none of them want to take over?"

"After all, the balance of power among the Ten Kings of Hell has lasted for many years, and how many more times must there have been open and covert struggles?"

"Every change is an opportunity, and for ambitious people, it is a rare and golden opportunity!"

"There's not much we can do. We can only try our best to block their actions in the mortal realm and wipe them out as much as possible. Otherwise, if we fail, the consequences will be unimaginable."

Senior Jiang nodded in agreement, presumably understanding the reasoning behind it.

I listened attentively to their conversation. They talked about mysterious things, like the King of Hell and the Gate of Ghosts. But I knew that if the Heaven and Earth Church succeeded, the world would really change.

What will the world be like then?

The group discussed the plan and unanimously decided to wait for Chairman Fang's confirmation. They would then contact the demon race to try and reach a cooperation agreement, which would provide a guarantee in the future.

In any case, the Heaven and Earth Church's plan must be thwarted, and with the help of the demon race, things will definitely go much more smoothly.

However, Senior Jiang spoke up during the discussion: "I cannot cooperate with the demon race. I will contribute in my own way, but I will not contact the demon race, much less fight alongside them."

"The biggest concession I can make is not to kill them!"

Upon hearing Senior Jiang's words, the advisor also let out a long sigh.

"You're carrying too heavy a burden. If possible, it's time to let it go."

"Humans, ghosts, and demons are all divided into good and evil. If we kill them simply because they are demons, isn't that inhumane?"

"The six realms of reincarnation are not something they can choose."

Senior Jiang didn't speak, but quietly took out a wooden comb from his pocket, stroked it, and put it back in his pocket.

“I don’t think I will change my mind. This time is an exception. I can make concessions.”
