A sense of sorrow enveloped the Sharma family.
Kafka always had a smile on her face. With Sanjay's tacit approval, she was happy to stay and watch Sharma die with his eyes wide open, while also finding a good funeral team for her family.
Sharma's youngest daughter accused Kaf for the third time: "You indirectly killed my dad, get out of our house!"
As Kaf folded gold ingots for her family, she was unusually good-natured: "Roll one out and let me see it first."
Sasa choked.
Just as the atmosphere froze.
A servant ran over: "Miss Sasha, a man claiming to be Yan Jiu has come to visit."
Sasha was furious: "Yan Jiu, the funeral home director who doesn't even bother to see you off? How dare she come to my house!?"
Kaf followed, not forgetting that Yan Jiu was the kind person who collected her sister's body.
She knew that she was not qualified to see Yan Jiu because of her status, but she still wanted to go and thank him in person.
On the road.
Sasha looked at Kaff with disdain, her tone unfriendly: "What are you doing following us? They came to our door looking for us, what business is it of yours, an outsider?"
Kaf didn't speak.
She stopped not far from Yan Jiu, looking at the person radiating confidence from afar, her eyes filled with envy.
Yan Jiu did not appear travel-worn.
All that exists is a carefree and unrestrained attitude.
She has lived a life that many people envy.
Kaf looked at Yan Jiu. Compared to her, Yan Jiu was a star hanging in the sky, while she was just a grain of sand as low as dust. They would never be from the same world.
Sasha stood in front of Yan Jiu with her hands on her hips and said, "You're not welcome here."
She knew that Yan Jiu wasn't the one who killed her father, but her father's death was inextricably linked to Yan Jiu.
Sasha didn't want to give Yan Jiu a friendly look. If she wanted to handle her father's funeral arrangements, she had to adopt the right attitude and beg them.
Yan Jiu didn't seem to care: "Oh, I'll just find someone and leave."
Sasha blocked the person's way: "Can't you understand human language? I told you, you're not welcome in my home. You don't need to look for me. My dad would never want to see you after he dies."
Yan Jiu glanced at the back of Sasha's head: "You were left behind when humanity evolved, weren't you?"
Sasha asked in confusion, "What?"
Yan Jiu ignored Sasha.
Instead, he walked toward Kaf.
As Kaf watched the stars walk towards her, she thought she was blocking their way and quickly stepped aside.
Yan Jiu stopped and politely asked the person next to her, "Kaf, is it convenient for us to talk?"
Kaf was stunned.
Did Yan Jiu come specifically to see her?
Until Yan Jiu and Kaf left together.
Sasha hadn't reacted yet.
Wasn't Yan Jiu here to see her boyfriend? How did she end up in front of that low-caste girl, Kaf?!
Sasha only recently learned about Yan Jiu.
Yan Jiu is a funeral streamer online, and runs a small funeral home offline.
The other party suddenly came to find us.
Sasha subconsciously assumed that Yan Jiu wanted to do business.
Now it seems...
I came here specifically for Kaffee!
Her brother is obsessed with Kaf, and Yan Jiu even went to her house for Kaf. What's so great about Kaf, a low-caste person?!
Sasha's anger gradually dissipated only after Sanjay arrived, and she began to feel guilty.
Sangjie asked anxiously, "Where is Yan Jiu?"
Sasha added fuel to the fire: "She was run off with Kaf, and the two of them walked away smugly."
Sanjay frowned: "What did you do?"
As Sasha's older brother, Sanjay knew perfectly well how strange Sasha's personality was.
Sasha began to evade the question: "Brother, what can I do? Yan Jiu didn't come here for Papa's funeral arrangements at all. She was also misled by Kaf. She came here specifically to find Kaf."
Sanjay did not speak.
He only believed half of what Sasha said, but the half he could believe contained a great deal of information.
While Sang Jie went out to look for Yan Jiu and Kaf.
Yan Jiu has already told Kaf the last words of Niha and the other two, and told Kaf that only by living can people change things.
The white sari couldn't hide the sadness on Kaf's face. The garment, known as a "pure garment," was heavily influenced by religious themes. A gentle breeze blew by, and Kaf pulled the sari closer.
Kaf held the talisman Yan Jiu had given her as if it were a keepsake, secretly keeping her promise to live well.
In the end.
Kaf said, "It's kind of you to come all this way. You even know our language. In your country, are women free to learn and free in everything?"
Yan Jiu nodded.
Kafka seemed to have received some kind of inspiration.
When Kaf looked at Yan Jiu again, she unconsciously straightened her bent shoulders.
Yan Jiu thought for a moment and said, "If you hate a certain system, you might as well try to grow yourself and change it. Blindly despising it is useless. You can be the star that illuminates yourself."
She saw the future of the country in Kaf, and she also saw Kaf's faith in her, that small yet inextinguishable spark that moved people deeply.
Therefore, Yan Jiu couldn't help but say a few words.
A hint of innocence still lingered in Kafka's eyes: "If I took shortcuts by using others, would you hate me for it?"
Yan Jiu knew that Kaf was referring to Sanjay Sharma: "What goes around comes around, as long as you don't regret it."
Kaf has gained a lot of confidence.
When Sanjay came looking for them.
A resolute glint appeared in Kaf's eyes: "Sanjay, do you despise me? Will you marry me?"
A high-caste man can marry many wives; he doesn't need love, he just needs a way out.
Sangjie was struck by happiness and stammered, "How could I possibly dislike you? I'm too busy cherishing you! I... I'm willing, I always am, Kaf, thank you for not resenting me because of my father!"
