Yan Shi thought of Zhuang Zhao's family, whom he was reluctant to talk about, and realized that he probably didn't want his child to end up like him.
"But I still don't want my child to take my surname."
“Then take my surname Yan. It sounds quite nice.”
"How about Nuanhe Han?" Han means dawn is breaking, welcoming a beautiful morning. My younger brother isn't feeling well, so it's perfect for him.
My older sister, Yan Nuan, nicknamed Yangyang, is someone I hope will be a warm little sun.
My younger brother, Yan Han, nicknamed An An, I hope he is healthy and has a peaceful life.
When the twins were a little over three months old, the weather cooled down considerably, and Yan Shi liked to take them out to bask in the sun. Zhuang Zhao had been busy with work lately and was rarely seen, so Yi Fan took care of them, acting like a little adult.
Watching his older sister sway her head and her younger brother sleeping soundly with his little fists clenched, Yifan saw that Yan Han was asleep, so he adjusted the curtain on the stroller down to block some of the sunlight and make it darker for his eyes.
Erwang ran around happily, and when Yan Shi threw a frisbee, it would fetch it back. There was also a ball with a bell on it, which it could play with for half a day.
Looking at the happy scene before him, Yan Shi suddenly had the urge to show off his baby.
After telling Zhuang Zhao and seeing Erwang upstairs, Yan Shi took a taxi with Yifan and the twins to Shuguang School.
Zhuang Zhao didn't stop her, but he was also worried, so he quickly finished what he was doing and drove over.
Spring has passed and autumn has come. Shuguang School has been built for two and a half years. Most of the students from the primary school group have been promoted to the middle school group.
When Yan Shi arrived, the children were in class. She pushed the stroller to the playground and sat on the swing next to the playground, waiting for them to arrive.
A moment later, the one-eyed man was seen sneaking over.
"If you want to look, then look. Why hide? Don't you even know that pillar is blocking your view?"
"You gave birth to him?"
"What else?"
Who's the boss?
"Girls are older sisters, and boys are younger brothers. Isn't that cute?"
The one-eyed boy waved his hand in front of his older sister's eyes, and the older sister's eyes followed the movement, while he blew bubbles from his little mouth.
The stroller is the kind with two small beds in the front and back. Zhuang Zhao made it by hand. It can be disassembled and assembled, can climb stairs, and can be folded.
The bells only come together when you're pushing them around; when you're sunbathing, they're separated into two and placed side by side.
One-Eye glanced into his younger brother's stroller. The younger brother, who had been intently biting his fingers, looked up at him when he felt One-Eye's gaze, pouted, and started to cry.
The younger brother's cries were not as heart-wrenching and ear-piercing as his older sister's; they were more like the soft, weak cries of a kitten or puppy, suggesting a lack of resilience.
Every time Yan Shi heard him cry, he was afraid that he would cry himself to death.
One-Eyed paused for a moment, took a step toward his sister, and disappeared from his brother's sight.
The younger brother's crying immediately subsided by half, and he sobbed pitifully.
Hearing her brother crying, the older sister was about to cry along with him, but when she suddenly saw a dark figure, she immediately giggled.
Yan Shi: This child is really carefree. The two children have such different personalities. I wonder if they can get along peacefully.
Yan Shi picked up her younger brother and hummed a tune to soothe him, and the brother's emotions gradually calmed down.
When Zhuang Zhao arrived, One-Eyed was playing with his older sister using toys from the stroller, while he dared not approach his younger brother.
Yan Shi had just put her younger brother to sleep when he was clutching her fingers tightly. Afraid of waking him up, she didn't put him back in the stroller.
Yifan stood next to his sister like a bodyguard, stopping her in time when the one-eyed man's movements might accidentally injure her.
Zhuang Zhao: Although the scene was harmonious, I found it particularly jarring.
"Wife~"
"Zhuang Zhao! You've arrived."
"I came over early as soon as I finished my work." Zhuang Zhao picked up his sister and held her chubby little hand, which made him feel much better.
"I was planning to show it to the children, but An'an is asleep and has been out for a while, so let's go back for now."
"Let's go back, it'll get cold soon."
The two of them each carried one child. Yifan put the stroller away, while the one-eyed boy watched pitifully as the other person took the child away.
"My king, I just smelled a human scent I've never smelled before. Is it a newcomer?" The alien, who had just finished class, ran over excitedly.
"They're gone."
"Gone? Why did they leave? I heard they were quite young. Were they too young to start school?"
"Why are you talking so much? All you can think about is human children, human children. They're not your children. Can't you have some self-awareness as a different species?"
The one-eyed man gave her a stern lecture, then left without giving her a chance to explain.
"But I can't have my own children, can I? I used to be human too. So, human children are my children, right? What's wrong with me caring about my own children? Honestly, did you forget to take your medicine? Always so fierce, taking your anger out on us now that you're at the bottom of the popularity rankings."
She only dared to complain softly after the one-eyed man had walked away.
"Why did you suddenly decide to go to school?" Zhuang Zhao asked Yan Shi, gripping the steering wheel.
"These two kids are so cute, I couldn't resist showing them off." Yan Shi stared at the siblings, unable to suppress a smile.
"But we can't just take them to school ourselves, what if..."
"I can protect them both."
"Wait for me next time."
Yan Shi completely ignored Zhuang Zhao and pinched the twins' palms like a fleshy pad.
Kids are so sweet! So comforting! Zhuang Zhao, on the other hand, is becoming less and less likable. Has the love shifted or disappeared?
Zhuang Zhao sighed. Although Yan Shi had a bad temper when he was pregnant, their relationship did not fade. He even relished the time when Yan Shi bossed him around and used him as a punching bag.
