"Stop praising me like that. It's not like I'm the only one making money." Even as he said this, Zhuang Zhao's eyes crinkled with laughter.
“That’s true, my royalties are more than enough to support Erwang.” Yan Shi said, laughing so hard he bent over.
After finishing his meal, Yan Shi was full of energy, holding banknotes and arranging Kui Mei's performance, showing no sign of wanting to sleep.
Zhuang Zhao couldn't stay awake any longer and put the twins to sleep first. Yan Shi turned on the small desk lamp, scribbled down an idea, and then looked up at Zhuang Zhao and the other two.
What a blissful life.
"Alright, I'll take care of it. I'll think about it for a couple of days and contact you again when I've made up my mind," Yan Shi assured Kui Mei.
How do you plan to help him?
"It's similar to a marriage proposal. What Catherine wants is probably Kuimei's definite meaning, while what Kuimei wants is even simpler. Catherine is concerned about her image and is waiting for Kuimei to speak. Kuimei can't even understand his own emotions, so how could he possibly tell Catherine what she wants to hear?"
"What we need to do is to be the commander of the Demon King and give Catherine a way out."
"No rush, I'll take a nap first. Keep an eye on them, they've both gotten more and more mischievous lately, be careful they don't fall or get stuck somewhere."
Yan Shi was too tired. After giving her instructions, she fell asleep without changing her pajamas. Zhuang Zhao had originally planned to let her eat before going to sleep.
Seeing that the two little devils weren't sleepy at all, and with not much food in the fridge, I decided to order takeout later.
Yan Shi slept until midnight before waking up, because he was hungry.
"Is there anything to eat?"
"I ordered a braised pork knuckle. You can eat this first, and I'll stir-fry a vegetable dish later."
