Bu Qing signed a contract with the sorcerer family represented by Han Yan. To ensure the safety of Bu Qing and her siblings, Han Yan publicly recruited companions.
However, Yan Shi knew nothing about these things. Zhuang Zhao was afraid that she would not be able to resist using the black hole, so he did not dare to let her go out. However, he had not had time to watch over her recently, so he simply delivered her to dormitory 404 every day. Tong Ying and the others went out to fight zombies, and Yan Ran was bored at home alone. The two of them would make it more lively.
During the day, Zhuang Zhao went to Quan Hou's laboratory to be a guinea pig. When she got back at night, she always wanted to stay close to Yan Shi. Even if she didn't say anything, just hooking her fingers together and combing or braiding her hair made her feel like bubbles of happiness were popping up endlessly.
Yan Shi noticed that Zhuang Zhao had fallen asleep with her little finger hooked around his, so she simply put down the comic book in her hand and began to examine it openly.
She hadn't really observed Zhuang Zhao's appearance properly. If you look closely, you can see pores and blackheads, and the stubble on his chin is also visible.
"Your skin is so nice." Yan Shi reached out and touched his face as if possessed, but suddenly pulled her hand back just before touching him.
He's sleeping so soundly, I'd better not disturb him.
Yan Shi thought of covering him with a small blanket, and when she slowly pulled her little finger out of his hand, she saw the needle mark on the back of his hand.
When did you get the injection? There are so many needle marks; could it be some kind of rare disease?
Yan Shi tugged at his sleeve and peered inside, trying to see if his wrist was still there, but when he looked up, he met Zhuang Zhao's puzzled eyes.
"What are you doing?" Zhuang Zhao couldn't help but chuckle.
"What happened to the needle marks on the back of your hand?" Yan Shi asked calmly, taking the initiative.
"It was because the Marquis drew my blood that he did it."
"So many puncture wounds?"
"Dispensing bottles".
Yan Shi clearly didn't believe him. Seeing the bruises and discoloration on the back of his hand, he couldn't bear to press him any further.
"I won't ask anymore, just don't do anything foolish." Yan Shi gently touched the needle marks on the back of his hand, feeling more and more uncomfortable the more he looked at them.
"I won't do anything foolish. I want to stay with you until we're a hundred years old." Zhuang Zhao held Yan Shi in his arms, warm and fragrant, which covered up the nightmare he had just had.
"I want to hold you and sleep for a while," Zhuang Zhao said, snuggling against Yan Shi's neck.
"Go to sleep." Yan Shi patted his back, and after he let go, he went over to make the bed, then pushed Zhuang Zhao over, covered him with an air-conditioning blanket, and patted his shoulder through the blanket to coax him to sleep.
"Yan Shi".
"Um?"
"Treat me like a younger brother, fine, but there's no need to pamper me like a son." Zhuang Zhao looked utterly hopeless. What boyfriend would want his girlfriend to coax him to sleep like that?
"Then what should I do?"
"Lie down, face me, closer, even closer, put your hands on my waist."
"It's too close, it's hot," Yan Shi protested weakly.
"Is this alright?" Zhuang Zhao stepped back slightly.
"Um."
"Can I put my leg on your leg?" Yan Shi asked timidly after a while.
"Yeah, you can sleep on top of me if you want."
"Then I'll ask you something."
"Ask away."
"Aren't you uncomfortable being so close to me?"
"What's bothering you?" Zhuang Zhao asked, puzzled.
"Aren't all teenage boys easily aroused?" Yan Shi said, glancing down at Zhuang Zhao's crotch. Zhuang Zhao, who had been confused, blushed furiously.
"Who said that!"
"Isn't that so?"
"have no idea!"
"If you have any troubles, you should talk to me. I consider myself quite understanding. Even if I can't solve the problem at its root, I can still lend a hand."
Yan tried to be tactful. She was used to telling her roommates risqué jokes, and her mind was full of theoretical knowledge that she hadn't put to use. When it came to actually speaking, she didn't know how to express herself.
"To solve the problem at its root, should we cut it off?" Zhuang Zhao was both amused and exasperated.
"Let's just leave it off; it's not good for harmony in our lives." Yan Shi chuckled, and after a moment, she gave her reply.
"Stop fooling around, just let me hug you. I may be impulsive, but I don't want to leave you with the impression that I'm irresponsible. Let's take it one step at a time, don't rush me." Zhuang Zhao patted Yan Shi after saying that.
"I'm not in a hurry!"
"Mmm, no rush." Zhuang Zhao's lips were practically twisted into a grin.
Yan Shi punched him lightly with her little fist, then turned her back to him. Zhuang Zhao took the opportunity to pull her into his arms, their soft breathing rising and falling.
Zhuang Zhao learned from Quan Hou that Bu Qing and his sister had been entrusted with an important mission: to go to the Ninth District to find the family that produced the divine medicine.
"I think you can go and see for yourselves. If anyone can cure the alien's out-of-control condition, it must be the Divine Medicine Clan."
Zhuang Zhao went back and told Yan Shi about it.
"Then let's go. Rather than waiting to die, we might as well go out for a walk." Yan Shi treated it as going out for fun.
While packing her luggage, she also contacted Bu Qing to find out when she would depart.
When Han Yan learned that Zhuang Zhao was also coming, he immediately ran over to give him a lesson and prepared a ton of things.
Yan Shi: Don't be so enthusiastic, it scares me.
When Han Yan left Yan, he specifically asked Zhuang Zhao if Han Yan had been too enthusiastic and had ulterior motives.
"That's just how he is, excessively generous." Zhuang Zhao initially harbored conspiracy theories, but later got used to it.
"There's no reason why someone so generous wouldn't have a girlfriend?"
"He said it's because he hasn't met anyone he likes." Zhuang Zhao shrugged, offering no comment on Han Yan's explanation.
The cat was sent to Han Yan's place so that he could take care of it for a while. Han Yan was overjoyed, but Yan Shili suspected that he had gone to great lengths to facilitate this so that he would take her cat.
Also traveling with them was Han Yan's cousin, Han Mo, who was said to be the strongest fighter.
Once everyone was there, we set off. One RV was more than enough. The post-apocalyptic version of the RV removed unnecessary equipment to expand the space and improve living comfort. It had three rooms: one with a double bed, one with a bunk bed, and one with a single bed, which matched the number of people perfectly.
