“It’s okay, I won’t blame you even if we continue, but we’re not ready yet. I’m older, and I have to take care of both of us, instead of getting sick or dying from a moment of pleasure.”
"Calm down, let's eat."
Yan Shi got up and went back to his room, giving Zhuang Zhao enough time and space.
She didn't know if Zhuang Zhao would overthink things, but she had a responsibility to be the calmer one.
"Knock knock." It was Zhuang Zhao knocking on the door.
"It's getting cold by the time we get to eat here."
Yan Shi washed her face, retied her hair, and sat opposite Zhuang Zhao. The bowl of fried rice in her hand was bright red and clearly had chili oil added.
They were both intentionally avoiding each other's gaze, but who would have thought that after taking a bite of food, one would inhale and the other would gasp.
If your lips are swollen from being kissed, and then you eat hot fried rice, it won't hurt, but it'll definitely be unpleasant.
Upon hearing each other's synchronized voices, the two burst out laughing, instantly dispelling their embarrassment.
"We'll kiss after dinner next time."
"I won't make it so spicy next time."
"I'm starting to wonder if I was kissed by a mosquito or bitten by a dog."
"I'll accept it whether it's a mosquito or a dog."
"Would applying an ice pack help relieve the pain?"
"Yes, then do you think it's better to kiss someone with ice in your mouth?" Zhuang Zhao asked seriously.
"I'm afraid the ice will melt and water will drip down my chin."
"Then make the ice cubes smaller."
"Let's eat."
"I think we've been quite successful. Some people either hit their teeth or their teeth hit their mouths the first time they tried, making it look like a crime scene."
"They're doing big, sweeping moves, while we're just painting walls for each other. How can that be the same?"
"That makes sense. I'd also like to paint the walls. Can I do that later?"
"Have a meal!"
