Zhuang Zhao woke up and the two of them were still drinking. They weren't afraid of getting drunk even though the alcohol was only three to five degrees. Yan Shi invited Zhuang Zhao to join them and pushed the leftover snacks in front of him.
Don't eat too much at night.
"It's alright, I'll go downstairs for a walk in a bit."
"You won't want to go after you finish eating." Having known each other for so long, how could she not know that Yan Shi's plans were one thing, but his execution was another; his plans never seemed to change.
"Do you know how to play mahjong?" Yan Shi asked Sang Zhi.
"A little bit knowledgeable, but not very knowledgeable."
"I really want to play a couple more rounds if I can get another person to join."
"Where can we find more people at this hour?"
"Let me ask." Yan Shi asked through all the contacts in the address book, but no one was really into it late at night, so he swiped to everyone.
"You should ask them too." Zhuang Zhao was forced to ask them one by one, and Han Yan said he would come over.
"Let him come. Now is not the time to be picky."
Han Yan was taken aback when he saw Sang Zhi.
"Didn't you elope? Why are you back? Were you abandoned?"
“You’re the one who got dumped. We’re doing great. I just came back to visit. It’s not like we have any deep-seated hatred. I never intended to never come back.”
"I even suspect that your uncle and aunt might have just thought you were dead outside," Han Yan said bluntly.
"That's fine too, as long as they don't think I've come back from the dead when they see me."
"You two know each other?"
"Childhood sweethearts".
"Are all warlocks of similar age childhood sweethearts?"
"Pretty much, especially in large families, everyone knows each other. It just depends on whether the older generation has any grudges. Those without grudges often meet. Some older people even arrange marriages between their children."
"Have you placed an order yet?"
"Look, the one right in front of you."
