Chapter 116 Mental Illness Self-Assessment Report

Xu Zhiyi listened to Dr. Li's words and sat on the bench in a daze. Under Dr. Li's repeated instructions, Xu Zhiyi could only agree to Dr. Li's request to let her find out first. If Jiang Xiufen really had a mental illness, then she would definitely persuade Jiang Xiufen to enter the hospital for treatment. If Jiang Xiufen did not have a mental illness, then she would be Xu Zhiyi.

Just when Xu Zhiyi was going home from get off work, Dr. Li suddenly stopped Xu Zhiyi and handed her something.

Xu Zhiyi took it doubtfully, and saw that it was a self-test for mental patients.

Doctor Li stood in front of Xu Zhiyi and gave her instructions again and again until Xu Zhiyi became annoyed, and then Doctor Li let her go.

On the way, Xu Zhiyi looked at the information in her hand, which was clearly a ball of fire.

Xu Zhiyi walked home with a gloomy face, muttering to herself: She doesn't know Jiang Xiufen well, how can I give it to her? Should I just say we suspect she's mentally ill?

If she said it directly, Jiang Xiufen would probably kick her out, right?

Oh no, what should I do!

Just when Xu Zhiyi was feeling irritated, he was suddenly hit from behind. He turned around in panic and when he saw it was Qin Zheng, his clenched fists relaxed.

Qin Zheng looked at Xu Zhiyi's frightened expression and said, "My dear, I didn't know what you were thinking. Are you not frightened?"

Xu Zhiyi shook his head. "Qin Zheng, I'm fine. Let's go home."

Qin Zheng walked beside Xu Zhiyi, watching her shaking her head and frowning, and stopped her. "My dear, what's wrong with you? What are you worried about?"

Xu Zhiyi saw that there was no one around, so he handed the thing in his hand directly to Qin Zheng.

Qin Zheng took it and immediately looked up at Xu Zhiyi, saying in surprise: "Wow, what is this...?"

Xu Zhiyi sighed and told Qin Zheng what had happened today. Finally, he said, "Well, Dr. Li from our department, to help generate revenue for the psychiatric department, asked me to give this self-test to Jiang Xiufen. But you said I'm not familiar with Jiang Xiufen, so how could she be willing to do it? If she's mentally ill, then it's fine. But if not, who am I?"

Qin Zheng smiled and said, "My dear, leave this matter to me."

Xu Zhiyi asked doubtfully, "Qin Zheng, what are you going to do? Just force Jiang Xiufen to write?"

Qin Zheng shook his head and said, "My dear, I don't know how to get Jiang Xiufen to write it now, but Old Wu should have a way."

"Old Wu? What can he do?"

Qin Zheng remained silent, just stood aside and looked at Xu Zhiyi with a smile.

Xu Zhiyi said helplessly: "Okay, I won't ask. But if you can't do this, then we'll give up. There's no need to bite the bullet and come to your door."

Qin Zheng rubbed Xu Zhiyi's head and said, "I understand, dear."

"Let's go home."

For three consecutive days, Jiang Xiufen saw Xu Zhiyi every time she went to the hospital. This made Jiang Xiufen retreat in her heart, but she didn't want to give up such a good opportunity.

On the fourth day, which was Saturday, Jiang Xiufen went to the hospital without any hope, but this time she did not see Xu Zhiyi in the emergency room. Jiang Xiufen even pretended to be a patient to inquire about Xu Zhiyi's whereabouts. It turned out that Xu Zhiyi was not working on Saturdays and Sundays. This gave Jiang Xiufen, who had originally given up all hope, a chance to live again.

Jiang Xiufen spent her Saturday and Sunday going around the hospital, asking around for information on all the unmarried male doctors with good conditions.

But after all this time, Jiang Xiufen was most satisfied with Dr. Li whom she saw in the emergency room that day.

As Jiang Xiufen walked, she thought about what she had learned about Dr. Li. He came from a family of doctors; his father was the director of internal medicine at a military hospital, his mother worked in a factory, and Dr. Li was her only child. Furthermore, Dr. Li was a college graduate and a good age for her. Most importantly, he had recently performed a remarkable surgery; the higher-ups at the hospital must have given him special attention.

Jiang Xiufen had spent a lot of effort to find out all this information. While she was trying to find out the information, she was almost caught by the nurses in various departments several times.

Just when Jiang Xiufen finished her visit to the internal medicine department and was about to go downstairs to the surgery department, she was caught by a surgical nurse while walking outside the corridor of the surgery ward.

The nurse saw Jiang Xiufen walking alone in the corridor, looking around. She was worried that she might be a criminal, so she quickly walked up to her and asked, "Comrade, are you a patient here to be hospitalized or a family member visiting the hospital?"

Jiang Xiufen was suddenly stopped and stood in the corridor, hesitating, "I'm a family member."

"Then which bed's family member are you assigned to? What's your name? I'll find it for you. You're wandering around outside like this, disturbing the patient's rest."

Jiang Xiufen quickly waved her hands, "No, no, I don't know which bed he is in. He should have just been admitted to the hospital today. I can look for him outside by myself. I will be careful not to disturb the patients in the ward." After saying that, Jiang Xiufen hurried away without waiting for the nurse to speak further.

The nurse looked at Jiang Xiufen's back as she hurriedly ran out, wondering: What a weird person.

However, as long as she is not at work, it has nothing to do with her.

On Sunday, Xu Zhiyi's first day at work, Xu Zhiyi and Qin Zheng had their usual meal and sat in the courtyard to digest it. Suddenly, Qin Zheng blocked Xu Zhiyi's view, and Xu Zhiyi took the item in front of him and began to look through it.
