Chapter 4: Tiger Ghost

The seventh day of the seventh month is a good day and everything will be auspicious.

This applies not only to humans, but also to ghosts and spirits.

The seventh day after the seventh month is the day when heaven and earth interact and heaven and man communicate. The gates of hell are wide open and will be closed from the seventh to the fourteenth day.

It is a carnival day for ghosts and monsters. The gusts of cold wind are full of evil spirits and resentment. Before it gets dark, some shady creatures can't wait to come out and make trouble.

In the deep mountains and old forests, the most numerous are the souls of large animals. They cannot stray too far from their burial places and especially like to tease passers-by or animals.

Feng Ling was not afraid at all. Even though she had no spiritual power now, she could still open her third eye and use witchcraft and the holy bell to protect herself.

When I followed the instructions of the sexy ghost and went into the mountains to find the man, I had unknowingly entered the deep mountains. Now I don’t know how long I have been walking. It is really difficult to walk back home with this weak body.

Besides, it is not appropriate for her to go out alone. The gossips in the village may not know how to frame her. In order to avoid trouble, she must have some shield.

Feng Ling raised her hand and drew several sets of talismans in the air. Accompanied by the sound of the holy bell, the talismans were directed at the souls of the monkeys that teased her.

"Stop being naughty, monkeys! Go pick up a bundle of firewood for me. As a reward for missing your chance to be reborn because of your playfulness, I will send you down again."

Some ordinary small animals generally do not have ghost messengers to take them to the underworld. Within seven days after their death, a black passage will automatically open next to them for them to jump in.

If they miss these seven days, they will miss the chance to reincarnate forever, which is different from the channel that humans and spirits can open every July.

Small animals do not have strong consciousness and can be easily absorbed by evil spirits and turned into nutrients. The longer a weak soul stays in the world, the more it will slowly dissipate between heaven and earth.

The monkeys may not understand human language, but they fully understand what the wizard wants to express, so they run to pick up dead branches.

Seeing this, several wolf souls ran to Feng Ling and howled. They also wanted this opportunity.

"Okay then, wolves, go hunt some prey for me. It doesn't have to be big."

The wolves have a strong evil spirit, which may be related to the creatures they have killed, but the merits and demerits of these are the job of the judge in the underworld. The wind spirit just needs to send them down and that's it.

So not long after, a strange scene appeared beside Feng Ling. A bundle of firewood, two pheasants and a hare moved out of thin air. Wherever Feng Ling went, those things followed her.

Huo Jinxing, who was following Feng Ling not far behind, couldn't help but raise his eyebrows when he saw this. So there really are ghosts in this world? It seems that the little woman has some skills. In this world, he has never seen many people who can exorcise ghosts.

But at this moment, a big, gorgeous tiger suddenly jumped out from behind the tree, scaring both of them.

Huo Jinxing was certainly not worried about his own safety. He was just a little worried about the little woman's situation. She looked weak and fragile, and perhaps she could command the souls of a few small animals.

But it is impossible to deal with a living tiger without a certain level of fighting power. After all, the little woman is his antidote. Huo Jinxing was on full alert, ready to take action for Feng Ling at any time.

However, he was wrong.

The big tiger in front of you is indeed alive, but it is driven by a ghost, commonly known as being possessed by a ghost.

After discovering the truth, Feng Ling calmed down. "Zhang Hunter, you haven't gone down yet?"

Hunter Zhang was in his thirties and was Zhang Chunxiu's uncle from the same clan. He married Li and had two daughters and one son. The youngest son was only three years old.

Two months ago, Hunter Zhang took Zhang Tiechui into the mountains to hunt, and they were killed by tigers. When Zhang Tiechui notified the villagers to form a team to go into the mountains, they only found one of Hunter Zhang's thighs.

His wife, Zhang Li, fainted.

Before Hunter Zhang's body was cold, his parents and brothers were dividing up his property and bullying his wife and children.

I guess Zhang the Hunter knew about the bad nature of his family members and guessed the situation at home, so he died with regrets?

Even after his death, he was still fighting with the tiger, and finally gained the upper hand, possessing the tiger's body and controlling it.

But, it seems that he is not very rational, the evil spirit emanating from the tiger is too strong.

"Hurry!!! Witch, witch, take me back to the village! Take me back to the village! I want to eat Zhang Tiechui and go home to see my wife!"

The huge tiger roar penetrated the entire mountain forest, and the dull and furious sound kept repeating.

Hunter Zhang possessed the body of a tiger. He could only go to the tiger's daily activities and could not enter the popular village at all, so he could do nothing.

The anger and worry in his heart had nowhere to go, and suddenly he discovered the magical power of Feng Ling. Of course, he couldn't miss it, so he directly threatened him.

Feng Ling's mouth twitched. She was a witch, not a fortune-teller. It was her mother who was called a fortune-teller by others, as they thought she was cheating.

"I can't take you back to the village in this state. You will hurt the villagers." Wouldn't that be creating karma for myself?

"Roar!! They deserve to die! Damn it! Take me there quickly!" Zhang Lao Hu's eyes were red and he pounced directly at Feng Ling.

Feng Ling remained motionless, unperturbed. He quickly bit his finger, and the blood drew a set of talismans in the air in the form of lines, accompanied by the sound of a holy bell. "Repel evil and protect the truth, the spirit of Taoism will always exist. Hurry and obey the command, and the devil will be defeated!"

As soon as Feng Ling finished speaking, he saw the drawn blood talisman attached to the tiger's head, instantly freezing the jumping Zhang Lao Hu in mid-air, unable to move.

It just costs a bit of blood. "It hurts so much!" Feng Ling took a breath and jumped up immediately. He quickly took out medicine and gauze from the space to apply to his wound.

Behind him, Huo Jinxing hurriedly retracted his sword and stared at the unpleasant scene happening before him.
