Then, several security guards quietly walked over and stood next to the reporter. If he dared to run, they would unleash their dogs... no, they would politely invite him to have some tea first.
A short while later, Uncle Hat arrived.
"Hello, comrade, we have received a report that you have been arbitrarily investigating other people's privacy and spreading rumors in public places, causing significant damage to their mental well-being and property. Please go back and cooperate with our investigation."
"No, Uncle Hat, I didn't do it! I've been framed!"
“We will definitely investigate after receiving a report. Don’t worry, we will handle the case in accordance with the law and will not wrong you.”
"No, I'm not leaving. I've really been wronged. I'm a reporter!"
"Everyone is equal before the law. If you continue to refuse to cooperate, we will take coercive measures. This is a warning to you now."
"I……"
"Warning twice!"
The reporter glanced around at the people around him, hoping that someone would stand up and say something for him, but he was disappointed.
If you think about it calmly, which reporter would dare to offend Lin Chen? He's a ruthless man who started from scratch and became the boss of the largest internet company in China.
Moreover, Xingchen Group's legal department is a force to be reckoned with, even rivaling Nanshan Pizza Hut. There are even rumors that Zhang San, a notorious outlaw, is behind it all.
Hey bro, it's not that we don't want to speak up for you, it's just that we really can't afford to mess with you. Good luck on your journey.
The reporter calmed down. He had almost forgotten Lin Chen's identity in his attempt to gain attention. Now that he thought about it, Lin Chen was already being very kind by giving them three chances to answer questions.
He sighed and followed Uncle Hat, but before leaving, he turned to Lin Chen and said something.
"Mr. Lin, I'm sorry, I spoke without thinking."
Lin Chen nodded to him. The reporter knew he had escaped a disaster and would probably just get a reprimand and that would be the end of it.
In cases of defamation like these, as long as the parties involved do not pursue the matter, it is not a big deal.
He also realized that Lin Chen didn't actually mean to target him, but was just using him as an example to scare the other reporters.
Sure enough, after this person was taken away, the other reporters also left on their own initiative.
Lin Chen watched the reporters leave, shook his head and sighed. Steve Jobs was indeed amazing; with just one sentence, he could stir up a storm, and the hype surrounding the iPhone Z had already reached its peak.
A few days later, Samsung also released its own foldable phone, the Samsung Ga Z, with a price tag.
At Samsung's launch event, a reporter asked a question similar to one asked at a previous Apple launch event.
"President Li, which phone do you think is better, the Samsung Ga Z or the iPhone Z?"
"That's definitely our Samsung GaZ!"
"If the Samsung Ga Z is so good, why is it cheaper than the iPhone Z?"
Lee Jung-seo was speechless. Isn't it good to be cheap? But there are two types of people in Korea who are not afraid of death: one is journalists, who shout every day that they are fighting for the truth, and the other is directors, who shout every day that they are sacrificing themselves for art.
Moreover, he couldn't afford to lose his temper at the press conference, so he patiently answered.
"Because our products are high-quality and inexpensive."
But then the reporter asked another question.
"Does the fact that the Samsung Ga Z is more expensive than the Jinmi phone mean that the Jinmi phone is good value for money?"
Li Zhenxi's face turned ugly. This guy is here to sabotage us, isn't he? I'll find out which media outlet he's from and make sure he gets killed.
However, he still answered the reporter's question.
"As far as I know, the Kimi phone is not sold in South Korea, so unfortunately, a comparison cannot be made."
Lee Jung-seo thought that was the end of it, but to her surprise, the reporter asked another question.
"As far as I know, Xiaomi will be opening its first store in Seoul next week. It seems that Chairman Lee can buy a Jinmi phone to try it out then."
"Um?"
Upon hearing the news that Xiaomi was opening a store in Seoul, Lee Jung-seo was taken aback. What happened? How come I didn't know that Xiaomi was opening a store here?
But when he came to his senses, he found that the reporter who had just asked the question was gone.
He turned to ask the bodyguard next to him.
Where is that reporter?
"He's gone. He just left without you saying anything, President."
"Go find it for me quickly, and bring it to me as soon as you find it."
"yes!"
The reporter who had just asked the question had quietly slipped into the restroom, shed his disguise, and transformed from a greasy middle-aged man in his forties into a trendy young man in his early twenties.
Wearing headphones and carrying a backpack, he walked out of the restroom.
They happened to run into the bodyguard who had come looking for the reporter.
The bodyguard grabbed the boy.
"Have you seen a reporter, a middle-aged man around forty years old?"
"What? What did you say?"
The bodyguard ripped off the boy's headphones and asked again.
The boy answered in Korean, which has a distinctly Chinese flavor.
"No, I just finished pooping and there was no one in the toilet."
The bodyguard looked up and saw that it really was at the toilet door.
He released the boy, then waved his hand, indicating that the boy could leave.
