Originally, I had no idea about how to write the sequel, but one night recently, when I was writing a new book, I inexplicably remembered my initial setting for the senior sister Xie Wanyu in this book.
Maybe it was all because of Senior Sister Qingleng, but Wanyu was very different from Zhaoyi. Zhaoyi was a genius since the beginning of his cultivation, but Wanyu's talent was extremely troublesome. This also led to Wanyu not being very decisive in his later actions, but being extremely cautious.
So when I thought of Wanyu, I couldn't help but start thinking about her, wondering what her purpose was in cultivating immortality. Was it to stay alive? Or to become powerful? But it seemed like neither of those was true.
I remember when I was writing this book, the setting for Sui Mei was indeed no CP at the beginning, but inexplicably, when Shen Xinglan appeared, I had a subconscious feeling that he was the male protagonist, so I immediately changed the no CP.
That night, would Yu also be waiting for me at some coincidental point?
So I read my book again carefully.
Because I can't save manuscripts, every book I write is basically written on the day, which also results in the grammar and time being a bit upside down when writing. So I am really very grateful to the babies who have read this book and can understand the world I described.
What’s even more amazing is that just two months later, when I opened this book again, I felt a little unfamiliar with it, as if I was reading a book written by someone else.
But this also gave me an opportunity, because I no longer stood in Sui Mei's perspective to figure out how to write the following text, so I observed Wan Yu carefully.
People say she is cold, but in fact Wan Yu is just not good at speaking. However, she always has great kindness towards everyone who approaches her from the beginning.
Her aptitude was very poor. Even with the skills that Xuanqing had painstakingly searched for her, she could only barely embark on the path of cultivating immortals.
But in the eyes of others, she still seemed like a genius as she crossed each stage of cultivation.
So what is it that supports her?
Towards the second half of the book, when I saw Wan Yu's second personality, or second soul, I felt something.
That is also Wan Yu, but it is not Wan Yu.
That Wan Yu was strong, proud, and confident, and she had shining points that Wan Yu did not have.
I think Wan Yu rejected her at first, but was inevitably attracted to her.
Just as her sister told her, Wan Yu is Wan Yu.
So after I finished reading it again, I got to know Wan Yu again, and I began to understand why I might have written the sentence "Wan Yu's departure was destined" intentionally or unintentionally.
Because she is walking a different path from everyone else. She wants to cultivate immortality, not because she wants to live, nor because she wants to be powerful.
What Wan Yu was thinking about might be to transcend that powerful, proud, and confident soul, that is, the real self.
So after I figured it out, I decided to start writing the second book around March. The protagonist is Xie Wanyu. Basically, the general content of this book is now almost complete. It is a cool story about the growth of a strong woman. Wanyu is not invincible, but Wanyu's life is indeed a cool story.
As for whether Wanyu has a CP, well...
I think everyone should be surprised, but also feel it is reasonable?
