"Why should I have stomach problems at such a young age!" Gu Yun retorted defiantly.
Gu Yanli coldly ate the vegetable leaves: "You love eating junk food, yet you don't eat breakfast."
"I'm just busy with work, what's wrong with that? The mistake is that I'm forced to become a workaholic in this society."
Gu Yun sighed, "I must find a wife who can cook well and make me breakfast every day."
Gu Yanli coldly picked off the broccoli: "Aunt Chen at home cooks very well, you just need to pay more."
The extra money was enough to make Aunt Chen willingly enroll in a cooking class to improve her brother's skills and satisfy him.
"That's different. Can what my wife makes be the same as what Aunt Chen makes?"
Why are they different?
"You're too young to understand."
Gu Yanli: "Oh."
the next day.
"Why should I, at such a young age, have to work every day!"
Gu Yanli flipped through the book in his hand, ignoring his elder brother's wailing.
The third day.
"I'm only twenty-two years old, why should I be treated like a beast of burden and have to do so much work every day!"
Gu Yanli put on his headphones and ignored his older brother's complaints.
One month later.
Gu Yanli was completely annoyed.
They picked a place that looked safe, packed their bags, and fled by plane overnight.
He chose a spot far enough away from his older brother.
This was a place he had searched for a long time to find that was safe enough and wouldn't be scammed.
Yes.
Class 7.
After comparing several options, his clever little brain concluded that the seventh class in the countryside was the safest.
Class 7 is full of rich kids.
Putting aside the fact that they themselves brought a large number of bodyguards, the fact that their parents dared to let them go over there means that it must be safe.
After all, nobody wants their heir to die unexpectedly in the countryside.
Therefore, Gu Yanli believed that Class 7 was definitely safe, so he packed his bags and went to join Fei Zexi.
The Fei family are his relatives; he's staying with his cousin, so he's guaranteed safety.
Fei Zexi looked at Gu Yanli, who had come to seek refuge with him, and fell silent: "Your parents and brother are willing to let you come here?"
Fei Zexi looked at the fair-skinned, delicate little boy in front of her who looked like he could be easily tricked, and became even more silent.
Gu Yanli hugged his schoolbag and nodded seriously: "Yes."
He said in a cold, detached tone, "I bought a house next to yours, you'll protect me."
After hearing this, Fei Zexi really wanted to kick Gu Yanli out.
Just before he kicked her out, he happened to see Ye Qi, who was on her way home after going out to buy milk tea.
He called out to Ye Qi, "Ye Qi, come here for a moment."
Ye Qi was happily skipping home with her milk tea in her hand when she heard a familiar voice. She suddenly stopped and turned to look at Fei Zexi.
"Huh?"
"You called me?"
“Yes, I’m calling you.” Fizexi waved to her.
"Okay." Ye Qi sipped her milk tea and hopped in.
But his mind was thinking:
I should be handing in my homework by now, shouldn't I?
Why did Banban contact me?
The next moment, Fei Zexi said, "This is my cousin, a new transfer student. I happen to be busy, so could you help me look after him?"
Ye Qi tilted her head and looked at Gu Yanli: "Hmm, he's so small."
"It's right that he's young; he's only ten years old."
Ye Qi: "?"
Fei Zexi: "What's wrong?"
"Ten years old and already in the first year of junior high school?"
"Yes, he's rather special."
"Wow...that's amazing."
Fei Zexi said indifferently, "As long as you work hard enough, you can skip grades and show off."
"No, I don't want to work hard. I just want to lie down and be a lazy bum."
"Alright, stop joking around. Just take him for a stroll for a bit and then drop him off next door. I'll treat you to afternoon tea sometime."
Then, Fizexi threw them both out.
"Smack—"
The gate closed behind Ye Qi and Gu Yanli.
Ye Qi: "..."
I've never seen such a decisive and efficient teacher.
Because of Fei Zexi's withdrawal, only Ye Qi and Gu Yanli were left staring at each other.
Gu Yanli obediently slung his schoolbag over his shoulder, looked up at Ye Qi, and said in a cold but polite tone, "Hello, sister. My name is Gu Yanli."
Ye Qi chuckled: "My name is Ye Qi. Let me take you to have some fun. If there's anything you don't want to go somewhere, just let me know in advance and I'll try my best to avoid it."
Gu Yanli shook his head: "No..."
But she added, "If someone is smoking, I will leave. Does that count because I hate the smell of smoke?"
"Calculate."
After much deliberation, Ye Qi decided on Fengqing Valley, a unique tourist destination in the town.
She went home to get a power bank, took Gu Yanli by car to the town, and bought tickets at Fengqing Valley.
He pulled Gu Yanli along as they ran toward the first attraction—the miniature train.
The miniature train offers a panoramic view of the entire valley, and passengers can disembark at designated stops.
When they arrived at the second stop, the Rainbow Slide, Ye Qi pulled Gu Yanli off the bus, and the two of them sat on the Rainbow Slide and swayed up the slope.
Then they rode go-karts down the high slope.
Go back to the starting point, take the mini-train, and go to the third stop to ride the jogging roller coaster.
Gu Yanli sat on the roller coaster, but he wasn't very interested. He didn't actually have much interest in these rides.
But he also knew he couldn't spoil the fun, so he pinched his cheek and pretended to be very happy.
Ye Qi noticed his boredom and didn't force him. She took him to another place, but seeing that Gu Yanli didn't seem interested in playing, she had no choice but to take him home.
On her way home, Ye Qi didn't know how to start a conversation with Gu Yanli because he was so cold.
