Suddenly, a cold wind blew, scattering all the ashes that filled the starry sky.
Looking ahead, A Yao saw a head floating in the starry sky, a head hundreds of feet long. The head was in the shape of a woman, with many scars on her pretty face. Her eyes were empty, and her hair was so thick that it stretched for thousands of miles. The thick hair seemed to have its own consciousness, moving without wind and swaying in the starry sky.
Human heads hung from the long hair, like beads adorning it. All the heads had their eyes closed.
This strange woman exuded an ominous aura, but A Yao couldn't sense what her cultivation level was.
Meeting her empty gaze sent a chill down Ayao's spine.
Ayao looked around and found that besides herself and Luo Bai, Feng Wu, and Mie Xinluo projected by the Causal Mirror, there was no one else there. Demon Emperor Tianluo, Demon Venerable Qingyu, and the guy hidden in the giant eyeball were all gone. Where had they gone?
Ayao didn't believe that the three of them could die so easily; it must be due to some special circumstance that they were teleported away.
Is she going to have to deal with this all by herself now?
Ayao saw that the other party did not make any rash moves.
If she were to open the Door of Freedom now, what would be the chances of sending the other person away? Ayao was seriously considering this question.
This strange creature doesn't seem to be planning to fight her yet; perhaps it's observing her? If she uses the "Do as You Please" technique, it will definitely enrage the creature. If she can get rid of it, that's fine; if not, then she'll have no choice but to fight.
Ayao didn't move, and neither did the other. Ayao saw that the other's eyes didn't even move, only her strange hair was floating around, the long hair dancing in the starry sky. These strands of hair slowly gathered towards Ayao, and Ayao's nerves tightened.
Suddenly, the opponent launched an attack. The hair wrapped around A Yao and her projected images of Luo Bai, Mie Xin Luo, and Feng Wu. The heads attached to the hair all came to life and unleashed different types of magical powers such as lightning, fire, and storms at A Yao. The eerie woman let out a shrill scream.
Wielding the Ancestral Phoenix Sword, A Yao unleashed a million sword energies, severing large swathes of long hair. However, the hair regenerated incredibly quickly. A Yao scoffed and transformed into a colossal nine-colored phoenix, hundreds of thousands of feet tall. Her phoenix form pulled the strange woman into her own realm, leaving her nowhere to escape.
In the world of flames, her hair was burned off as soon as it grew out, and she let out a piercing scream.
"Aa ...
A massive cloud of black mist surged from the severed neck, seemingly threatening to engulf A Yao's own realm. A Yao flapped her phoenix wings, and the flames became ten times more terrifying than before. Feng Wu's projection also materialized into her true form, and she activated her Flame Realm. Instantly, A Yao's Fire Spirit Realm merged with Feng Wu's projected Flame Realm, amplifying the power of the Fire Law a hundredfold.
Amidst the terrifying flames, the eerie screams of the woman, now only a head remaining, grew even more pitiful. Yet, she did not die so easily; red blood flowed from her eyes, gushing forth and dripping onto the ground, forming a river of blood that was actually eroding the physical world projected onto A Yao and Feng Wu.
Ayao frowned. She really didn't want to waste time with this thing. Luo Bai's projection and Mie Xinluo's projection flew towards the strange woman who was frantically waving her newly grown hair. Ayao and Feng Wu's projection gathered the power of the flames into their hands...

One day later.
Rumble—
An explosion resounded through the starry sky, shattering several large stars. From the dust emerged the figure of a young girl. She wore golden armor, her long, jet-black hair cascading down her back. She possessed a pair of deep blue eyes, their depths seemingly flashing with a cold light. Her skin was as white as jade, and her beauty was breathtaking; it was none other than A Yao.
"Damn it! They're so difficult to deal with," Ayao said resentfully.
That strange head was so hard to kill that it dragged her down ten times. She went through ten rebirths, used up two Time Talismans, and even had the projections of Luo Bai, her master Feng Wu, and Mie Xin Luo before she finally killed it.
Where should we go now?
A Yao's eyes gleamed with a phoenix totem as she gazed at the starry sky. Her gaze reached thousands of miles away, but she couldn't see a single living creature. Unable to disperse her divine sense, she opened her storage space and released all the golden jade cicadas within. Billions of golden jade cicadas flew out from a spatial rift in a mighty torrent, then immediately scattered in all directions.
Ayao took out a copper coin to try and divine where she should go, but then remembered that this was the No Return Star Domain and that divination would be interfered with, so she put the coin away.
She randomly chose a direction and flew towards it.
Her mind was in turmoil.
Where were Feng Chu and the others taken?
And those guys like Demon Emperor Tianluo.
Ayao flew at a moderate pace towards a certain place, only to find desolate planets all around. There wasn't a single planet with spiritual energy here; they were all dead stars. Moreover, the starry sky here lacked spiritual energy or the power of heaven and earth. The only way to restore one's magical power was to absorb the immortal energy from the immortal jade. Ayao flew while taking out immortal jade from her storage space to absorb it.
Suddenly, A Yao's expression changed; 50% of the golden cicadas she released had lost contact with her.
Half an hour later, even more Golden Jade Cicadas went missing.
Ayao gritted her teeth. This place was indeed eerie; no wonder it was called the No Return Starfield.
After flying for about two days, they saw floating palaces ahead. These palaces were extremely ancient, seemingly from the prehistoric era. All the palaces were in ruins, covered with bloodstains. The bloodstains had long since dried, but they were all highly poisonous, or perhaps remnants of a curse.
Curious, Ayao flew to a palace square. Scattered on the square were many creatures that had died countless years ago. Their corpses had turned into skeletons, which were all pitch black, surrounded by black mist, and exuding an ominous aura.
Ayao thought to herself: These dark energies all possess corrosive dark power. Even a Celestial King would likely go mad after three to five years.
Ayao's current strength is not yet at the Immortal King level; she's not even a Great Luo Golden Immortal. Protected by the Ancestral Armor, she isn't afraid of these dark forces. However, she can't help but worry about Feng Ran and Feng Chu, especially Feng Ran, whose strength is the lowest. As for Feng Chu, he has his natal sword, which automatically protects its master, and he's also protected by Xie Chen's sword energy.
Although she gave the Star and Moon Compass to Feng Ran before setting off, A Yao was still worried about her.
Hopefully, good fortune will come their way.
Ayao walked forward, where there was a gate, a hundred feet high, tightly closed.
