Several months later.
Ayao walked through a passageway inside the Black Nest. She had been here a long time ago. There were many doors here, each leading to a different place of enlightenment.
Previously, to enter these enlightenment spaces, one had to pay 50 million Yuan Crystals, and even then, 50 million Yuan Crystals were only enough to stay inside for one hour. Now, A Yao doesn't need a single Yuan Crystal; she can freely enter every door. But she's not happy about it.
She wanted to get out; she wanted to leave the Black Nest.
She flew towards one of the doors, passed through the golden light curtain, and entered a space for enlightenment, where tall stone tablets were everywhere. The ground was covered with lush grass and blooming flowers, while some stone tablets were low and submerged by vegetation.
Ayao stood in front of one of the stone tablets, raised her hand, and smashed the stone tablet in front of her with a single palm strike.
With a loud crash, the stone tablet shattered into pieces and scattered all over the ground. Ayao shouted into the void, "Hey, if you don't come out, I'm going to smash all these stone tablets!"
She doesn't even call anyone "senior" anymore.
Seeing that there was no movement around, Ayao raised her hand and smashed five stone tablets in a row.
Just as she was about to smash the sixth piece, the Lord of the Black Nest appeared.
He floated in the sky, looking down at A Yao on the ground, his robes fluttering even without wind. A Yao flew towards him, and the two stood in mid-air.
"You've locked me up here, fine, but at least give me something to use for cultivation! I can't access my storage space here," Ayao said.
The Lord of Black Nest asked, "What do you want?"
"These." With a wave of her hand, A Yao sent a piece of paper floating in front of the Lord of the Black Nest.
The Lord of the Black Nest glanced at it and said, "No."
The materials listed by A Yao were for crafting Time Talismans. If she could create the Time Talismans here, she could regain her Immortal Emperor cultivation level, allowing her to run rampant in the Black Nest. The Black Nest Lord wasn't worried about being unable to subdue A Yao at the Immortal Emperor level, but why would he want to shoot himself in the foot?
Of course, I can't give it to her.
“I don’t believe it,” A Yao said. “This is the Black Nest, how could you not have the materials to make the Time Talisman? You clearly don’t want to give it to me.”
The Lord of Black Nest said, "Yes."
Ayao: "..."
You actually admitted it!
She thought of her previous guess again. The more she thought about the Black Nest Lord's behavior and his actions towards her, the more she felt that her guess was correct.
She walked step by step toward the man in front of her, only half a step away from him. She looked into his hood, but she couldn't see his face. However, she felt that this was not what he really looked like. She reached out to touch his "face" under the hood, but he immediately stepped back away from her.
"What do you want to do?" asked the Lord of the Black Nest.
"I just wanted to touch you, why are you so nervous?" Ayao said with a smile.
"rude."
Upon hearing the word "rude," Ayao chuckled and said, "Then throw me out of the Black Nest."
Lord of the Black Nest: "..."
"I've always been curious, senior, which race are you from? Is this your original appearance? It shouldn't be, since you insist on keeping me here, why don't you satisfy my curiosity and let me see your face?" As A Yao spoke, she walked towards him again, reaching out to touch him.
Before she even touched him, he flicked his sleeve, creating a blue ripple that sent A-Yao staggering back several steps. A-Yao heard him scold her: "Insolence!"
He suddenly unleashed a sharp and terrifying pressure, but this didn't frighten A Yao. A Yao was almost certain that he was one of Xu Fengzhi's clones. Because she had been so presumptuous, he hadn't done anything to her, just scolded her like that, which was practically condoning her behavior.
“Feng Yao is always unruly.” As she spoke, A Yao suddenly slapped her hand towards the Lord of the Black Nest.
Her palm strike was fierce, whipping the man's black robes into a flutter. The resulting palm print transformed into golden lotuses, blooming like a torrential rain. The Black Nest Lord didn't move an inch; the attack was neutralized by the red light emanating from his body. Golden light flashed in A Yao's hand as she threw a punch at the Black Nest Lord. Her fist erupted with dazzling light, and Phoenix True Fire ignited between heaven and earth.
The space shook violently, and the light was incredibly intense.
The Lord of the Black Nest merely flicked his sleeve, and A Yao was sent flying a hundred feet away by the gust of wind it created. Before A Yao could regain her footing in mid-air, he vanished.
Ayao knew she couldn't possibly beat him, and she hadn't really intended to fight him. Seeing him disappear, she stood on the ground, looking at the empty world, and shouted:
"Hey, are you disappearing again?"
"You've trapped me here because you're plotting something against me, aren't you? That's understandable, since I am indeed beautiful. But senior, are you all lust and no guts? You've already imprisoned me here, so what are you pretending to be, a gentleman?"
"Senior, I'm so bored. Come out here. I'll do whatever you want."
Ayao's voice echoed in the empty space. She waited for a long time, but no one answered. It was so quiet that only the sound of the wind could be heard.
She knew that the Lord of Black Nest must have heard everything.
"You won't come out, huh? She has a way to make you come out immediately." Ayao reached out her left hand and condensed her magic into a dagger. Holding the dagger, she plunged it into her abdomen. Blood gushed from her mouth, and she collapsed to the side. A dark figure immediately appeared behind her and caught her.
The Lord of the Black Nest held A Yao in his arms, his emotions running high:
"Are you crazy?"
