Her reaction puzzled Gongsun Nan as well. This woman seemed to know him, but he was certain he had never seen her before.
"Young Master, is it really you?" The woman in red looked at Gongsun Nan, tears streaming down her face. Her eyes were filled with all kinds of pain, like someone in despair who had finally seen a glimmer of hope.
"Young Master? Are you from the Gongsun family?" Gongsun Nan asked. Only members of the Gongsun clan would call him Young Master. Could this woman be a member of a collateral branch of the Gongsun family, captured and used as a furnace? Who? How dare she even touch someone from the Gongsun family!
Gongsun Nan's face darkened.
"Which branch of the Gongsun family are you from?" Gongsun Nan asked.
"What Gongsun family? Young master, have you lost your memory? Young master, don't you remember who you are? You are the son of the Lou family of Lishan, you are Lou Munan, the young master of the Lou family, have you forgotten?" the woman in red said loudly.
"Who is she?" Ayao asked the Black Nest Lord upon witnessing this scene.
“Hongye, the maid of Lou Munan’s mother,” said the Lord of the Black Nest.
Lou Munan's three words struck Gongsun Nan like a hammer blow, and shock and confusion appeared in his eyes...

His sister's spirit beast had taken him away, but he was incredibly unlucky; he and the spirit beast were attacked by a ferocious beast, and he fell into a valley, losing his memory.
