A Yao remained silent, and so did Luo Bai, who simply stayed quietly by her side. As they walked, A Yao arrived at the former site of the Nangong family. She stood atop a high mountain, overlooking the land below. This place had originally belonged to the Youyun Nangong family, but it had now become a town for ordinary people.
Ah Yao recalled the past and said to Luo Bai beside her:
“More than a million years ago, this place belonged to the Youyun Nangong family. When I first saw the third young master of the Youyun Nangong family, Nangong Qi, I was very surprised. He looked exactly like you. I suspected that he was your clone, but I could never be sure.”

He reached out and hugged Ayao tightly.
Under the moonlight, their two figures were pressed tightly together.

Inside the enormous palace, pale gold gauze curtains hung down, and pearls shone brightly inside lampshades.
On the ornately carved bed, a man leaned against the headboard, wearing a soft white robe. His silver hair cascaded down his back and over his shoulders, revealing a large expanse of his chest. A stunningly beautiful young woman lay with her head on his lap, her long, black hair cascading down like water, flowing over his knees and onto the bedding.
Luo Bai reached out and played with A Yao's long hair, then lowered his head to gaze at her beautiful face.
Ayao slowly opened her closed eyes, glanced at Luo Bai, shifted to a more comfortable position, and asked, "How long have we been here?"
"Not long, just a month," Luo Bai said gently.
He reached out and pulled A-Yao into his arms, then pressed her down beneath him, wanting to continue their intimacy. A-Yao pushed him away; her eyes held no desire. She said, "I should go back to Phoenix Palace."
Seeing that she was about to get out of bed, Luo Bai reached out and grabbed her arm: "Are you just going to leave me like this?"
"What do you want?" Ayao asked coldly.
Luo Bai looked at her, feeling annoyed. How hard-hearted she was! A million years had passed, and she still hadn't warmed her heart.
During their first dual cultivation session, she mistook him for Xu Fengzhi. After the session, she left indifferently.
