Chapter 488 Is Feng Chu Xiao Yue?

Feng Chu was puzzled, wondering what Luo Bai meant. Had she just happened to run into him, or was he deliberately waiting here?

There was no answer. Several days later, Feng Chu received a message from his master Xie Chen on a jade slip. He took the jade slip and said to Lou Munan, "My master wants me to go back. It may be something important."

"Your master is calling you, so you should go back. All good things must come to an end. Besides, we've traveled together for so long, it's time for us to part ways."

The moonlight was like water. Feng Chu and Lou Munan stood atop a palace, below them, pedestrians coming and going. The mortal capital was bustling with activity, a celebration was underway. Fireworks soared into the sky, illuminating the night. Colorful lanterns hung from the trees, creating a dazzling spectacle that never ended.

Hearing Lou Munan's words, Feng Chu felt a surge of sadness. He looked at the man in front of him and asked, "Then I'll go back. Maybe we'll never see each other again...?"

He paused for a moment:

"Don't you have anything to say to me?"

Lou Munan gazed at the boy in front of him, many memories flashing through his mind. He had so much to say, but in the end, he shook his head.

Feng Chu turned around, his back to Lou Munan, the night wind blowing against him.

He recalled every detail of their thousand-year journey together, and reluctantly turned back to look at the man behind him. Seeing his gentle smile, devoid of any sorrow at parting, he turned to gaze at the bright moon in the sky.

"Take care of yourself!"

Leaving these words behind, Feng Chu transformed into a streak of sword light, tearing through the sky and disappearing from Lou Munan's sight. After Feng Chu left, the gentle expression on Lou Munan's face slowly faded away.

Lou Munan turned around and saw a white figure appear on a tower not far behind him. The man, with silver hair and white robes fluttering in the wind, held a jade flute and gazed at Lou Munan with a gentle smile. Lou Munan looked at Luo Bai, his eyes flashing with killing intent.

His battle with Luo Bai was inevitable.

The sound of gongs and drums resounded below as mortals reveled in the festive celebrations. No one noticed the sudden disappearance of Luo Bai and Lou Munan.

Lou Munan and Luo Bai simultaneously opened their own realms, thus disappearing without a trace.

One hundred years later.

The towering phoenix tree radiated a dazzling divine light, and the phantom images of colorful phoenixes flew around it. Beneath the tree stood a jade table, in front of which was a futon, upon which sat a young girl cross-legged.

The girl's long, black hair was half-tied up, adorned with a phoenix crown. She wore a red palace dress, with phoenix totems embroidered on the wide robes.

The girl was stunningly beautiful, her whole body was surrounded by a soft light, and a huge halo like a full moon hung behind her head. The white shawl on her arms moved without wind, and she was holy and transcendent.

The young girl was brewing tea in a space that was incredibly mysterious. Above her was the vast universe, and the lakes on the ground reflected the shadows of countless universes, forming cosmic lakes.

Suddenly, a crack appeared in the sky above, spreading outwards and tearing open a spatial gate. A man with silver hair and red eyes walked out of the gate. He wore a black robe with intricate patterns outlined in silver threads. He was extremely handsome and had an unparalleled, terrifying aura.

Despite the appearance of such a terrifying man, the girl brewing tea beneath the sacred parasol tree did not even raise her head.

The man's gaze fell on the girl. He sat down on the futon opposite her.

“You knew I would come looking for you,” Lou Munan said.

Ayao, holding her teacup, finally looked up at him and said, "You devoured Luo Bai, so my next target will definitely be me."

The battle between Luo Bai and Lou Munan took place entirely within their own realm, from beginning to end. Therefore, apart from A Yao, who had become a primordial god, no one noticed. They were also unaware that Luo Bai, the Dragon Lord, had been devoured by the Demon Lord Xuan Tian.

Ayao had actually discovered Lou Munan's whereabouts long ago. He was with Feng Chu, and she had been keeping an eye on him, wondering what he was up to. Unexpectedly, he hadn't done anything all year, just spent his time eating and drinking with Feng Chu.

"You discovered me a long time ago, but did nothing, not even interfere in my battle with Luo Bai. What? Did you think you could definitely suppress me? Has your confidence swelled up so much after regaining the power of the Primordial God?" Lou Munan said provocatively and mockingly.

"Yes."

A Yao looked at Lou Munan, her blue eyes flashing with golden light, her pupils reflecting the rising and falling of the sun and moon. Suddenly, she exuded an extremely powerful aura. The Wutong Divine Tree behind her disappeared, and a Reincarnation Pearl larger than the stars appeared in the sky above her head. The surrounding cosmic lake transformed into a vast river of time, and the Gate of Reincarnation appeared behind her.

A colossal yin-yang symbol unfolded beneath her like a chaotic universe, with countless spaces overlapping and merging to form myriad worlds. The shadows, both real and illusory, shifted unpredictably, and the threads of cause and effect and the chains of order intertwined and separated.

The laws of reincarnation, time, space, cause and effect, order, yin and yang, and illusion and reality have all been mastered by A Yao. Now she can completely control the Reincarnation Bead.

“You, or rather all of you, have never beaten me, from the very beginning until now,” Ayao said calmly.

She was not afraid of Lou Munan, who had merged with Luo Bai and possessed both the Lifeless Sword and the Lotus of Creation. Now, she was confident that she could defeat anyone.

Lou Munan sneered: "How arrogant. Not only did you not help Luo Bai, you also gave me time to fully integrate with him. I have all his memories. Aren't you two lovers? You are really heartless. Luo Bai will still be thinking about you when I completely devour him."

"Did you come here just to spout this nonsense to me?" Ayao's emotions remained completely unchanged.

Lou Munan stared at A Yao for a long time before the mocking expression on his face disappeared. He asked, "Is Feng Chu Xiao Yue?"

After asking the question, he looked directly into A Yao's eyes, as if he could see through her and read her heart.

After a long silence, Ayao finally spoke: "Yes."

Upon receiving this answer, Lou Munan was both shocked and somewhat certain that it was indeed the case. He asked, "Is it Yan Tang?"

He went to great lengths to obtain the Reincarnation Pearl for Xiao Yue's sake, but after obtaining it, the pearl refused to obey his commands, and in anger, he threw it away. Yan Tang obtained the Reincarnation Pearl after he was sealed away, and he, within the seal, was unaware of what Yan Tang did after acquiring it.

Although he later learned from Xu Fengzhi's memories that Yan Tang had obtained the Reincarnation Pearl and even made it recognize him as its master, he never imagined that Yan Tang would use it to save Xiao Yue.

In his view, Yan Tang hated him to the bone, so how could she possibly use the Reincarnation Bead to save his nephew and give him a chance to live?

However, during the thousand years he spent with Feng Chu, a thought always lingered in his mind: he had no evidence, but he just felt that Feng Chu was the reincarnation of Xiao Yue.

The only person who could confirm his answer was A Yao, so he came to find her.
