Time flies, and twelve years have passed in the blink of an eye.
Qing'er was already twelve years old, and she was as tall as Feng Chu. She was lively and a bit mischievous, often running around the Sword God Palace with Feng Chu, causing the disciples of the Sword God Palace a great deal of trouble. But what could they do? These two were both patriarchs, so they could only endure it, kneeling and begging their patriarchs for mercy.
Fortunately, these two ancestors only liked to play pranks on them and wouldn't actually do anything to them.
From within the clouds came a silvery laugh. Two streaks of light flew in from afar. One transformed into a white-clad, golden-eyed boy, and the other into a girl in a cyan dress. Both appeared to be around twelve years old. The boy had a jade-like face, his long, black hair tied in a high ponytail with a red ribbon, and his features were exceptionally handsome. A small red mole adorned the corner of his left eye, and his light golden pupils shone like brilliant stars.
The girl had a pair of emerald eyes, and her long, black hair was tied into two buns adorned with butterfly-shaped beads and tied with red ribbons. Long gemstone earrings dangled from her small earlobes, and a blue mark, like a painted floral design, adorned her brow. Her skin was as white as snow, her lips were red, and her teeth were white; her beauty was unparalleled.
The girl was dressed in a light blue dress, with a red gold longevity lock with auspicious patterns around her neck and a ruby bracelet on her arm. Her whole outfit was gorgeous, elegant, and dazzling.
The young man and woman were Feng Chu and Qing'er.
Qing'er held a small sword in her hand, the sword gleaming with a silvery-white light. A white light followed from afar, and there landed pitifully on a cloud, kneeling and saying:
"Ancestor Qing'er, please return my natal sword to me! I will serve you with all my heart and soul until my dying breath." The white-bearded old man was already a Celestial King, but these two little ancestors in front of him were both Celestial Emperors.
Qing'er had no use for taking someone else's natal sword, but seeing the white-bearded old man crying and pouting, she casually tossed the sword away, and it flew towards the old man.
"Thank you, Ancestor!" The white-bearded old man sheathed his natal sword and immediately ran as far away as possible.
"Little Chu Chu, where are we going to play today?" Qing'er asked Feng Chu with a smile.
"How about we go to Phoenix Palace to find Xiaobaibai and Ayao?" Feng Chu said with a smile.
"Great! Great!"
Qing'er clapped her hands and laughed as she spoke.
So the two of them tore through space and flew towards the Phoenix Palace.

Inside the Phoenix Palace.
On the huge sycamore tree, many sycamore flowers were in bloom. Under the tree, a table and cushions were laid out, and Feng Chu, A Yao and Xu Mubai were drinking tea and chatting, while Qing'er, barefoot, was chasing the little phoenixes on the tree trunk.
"Don't run, don't run!"
Seeing Qing'er running towards them, the little phoenixes all spread their wings and flew away into the distance. Qing'er laughed heartily and pounced on one of the five-colored phoenixes. The five-colored phoenix was so frightened that it lost its feathers and tried to speed up, but Qing'er's cultivation was far superior to its own. How could it possibly dodge? Qing'er pounced on its back and wrapped her arms around its neck.
The five-colored phoenix had no choice but to accept its fate and become Qing'er's mount.
"Fly, fly, fly that way! Hahahahahaha..."
Qing'er's laughter rang like wind chimes. Xu Mubai looked at the joyful Qing'er, and the corners of his mouth unconsciously turned up. A Yao glanced at Qing'er and said to Feng Chu with a smile, "I heard that you two often wreak havoc in the Sword God Palace."
"No, that's not true. Where did you hear that rumor?" Feng Chu said.
It was clearly the old man who was too stingy. He only burned a few ancient books, but he grabbed a sword and chased after him and Qing'er everywhere.
Suddenly, Feng Chu's golden eyes sparkled as she looked at A Yao's belly and said with a grin, "When are you two going to have a baby?"
Xu Mubai reached out and hugged Ayao, saying with a smile, "Not so fast yet."
In theory, using the Lotus of Creation, A Yao and Xu Mubai could create a child. However, in practice, it's not that easy. A Yao and Xu Mubai are still working on it.
"What? Taking care of Qing'er isn't enough? You want to help us both take care of the baby too?" A Yao teased Feng Chu.
Feng Chu looked at Qing'er, who was playing with the phoenixes, and said, "That's enough, that's enough, one is enough."
Feng Chu and Xu Mubai hadn't sparred in a long time. Seeing Qing'er having so much fun with the little phoenixes of the Phoenix Clan, he dragged Xu Mubai along to spar elsewhere. Feng Chu and Qing'er spent a month playing at the Phoenix Palace before returning to the Sword God Palace. Upon returning, Feng Chu and Qing'er discovered that Xie Chen was not there and didn't know where he had gone.
"Where did the old man go?" Qing'er blinked curiously.
"I don't know." Feng Chu shrugged.
Feng Chu didn't care too much about it. Xie Chen had legs and wasn't a child; he could go wherever he wanted. However, Qing'er had been playing in the Phoenix Palace for a month and hadn't seen Xie Chen for a month, so she missed him a little. She searched everywhere for Xie Chen, but he had hidden his whereabouts, and Qing'er couldn't find him no matter how hard she looked.
A year later, Qing'er had grown taller than Feng Chu, but Xie Chen still hadn't returned.
"Where did the old man go?" Qing'er lay listlessly on the bamboo couch, her feet crossed. There was a snack box in front of her. As she spoke, she picked up a snack and stuffed it into her mouth.
Feng Chu was engrossed in reading the interesting storybook he had snatched from Chu Tian when he heard Qing'er's words. He said, "I don't know. Anyway, he won't get lost, so what are you afraid of?"
