"Is the old man hiding because he's afraid of us?" Qing'er blinked her big eyes and asked.
"Maybe," Feng Chu said.
Qing'er jumped off the bamboo couch and said, "I'm going to find him."
After saying that, she ran outside barefoot, silver bells adorning her fair ankles, jingling incessantly as she walked. Her red hair ribbons fluttered, and her light blue gauze dress resembled flowing clouds. Feng Chu glanced at her retreating figure, then decided not to follow, choosing instead to continue reading her storybook.
Qing'er first searched for Xie Chen in the Immortal Realm, but failing to find him there, she went to the Spirit Realm, the Ancient Realm, and other places. Time flew by, and another year passed. Qing'er was now fourteen years old, and at fourteen, she was already half a head taller than Feng Chu. When she was fourteen and a half, she finally found Xie Chen in a small world.
In a bustling capital city in the mortal world, there was a very lively restaurant where an opera troupe performed. Xie Chen, still dressed in white, sat at a table on the second floor, listening to the opera. Those around him were amazed by his appearance and demeanor, and several young women blushed as they stared at him.
A clanging sound rang out, and everyone looked toward the stairs, where they saw a girl of about fourteen years old climbing the stairs.
The little girl had long, jet-black hair styled into two buns, adorned with delicate butterfly-shaped hair ornaments. She wore long earrings and a light green dress. Her skin was as white as snow, and her face was as beautiful as a flower. Although she was young, she was already stunningly beautiful.
Everyone was amazed. Whose daughter is this?
