Chapter 66 A Yao's Clones' Secret Realm Treasure Hunt

Many giant rocks floated in the sky, and several long rainbows appeared from the horizon. After approaching, the rainbows paused for a moment, and their light dissipated, revealing three men and two women. These were all Nascent Soul cultivators, with cultivation levels between the early and peak of the Nascent Soul stage.

Amidst the dense forest ahead, crimson clouds shimmered, as if treasures were hidden within.

A beautiful female cultivator looked ahead, her eyes seemingly gleaming with an eerie light. She said to the people beside her, "There seems to be some treasure up ahead. Why don't we go take a look?"

The others also saw the red glow and wanted to go forward. A young man in white robes nodded, but he was also afraid of some danger and said, "Be careful. If there is really treasure, there may be a trap."

Everyone else nodded.

So they each clutched their natal magic weapon in their hands and carefully approached the dense forest. They flew safely to where the rosy clouds were, stood in the air and looked down, and saw a strange flower that emitted a dazzling light. The flower was like a flame, radiating a rosy glow, and was very beautiful.

Upon seeing the flower, the cultivators' eyes lit up. They disregarded all danger and, as if they had lost their minds, immediately flew downwards.

When they were still twenty feet above the ground, the entire dense forest seemed to come alive as monsters. The roots, vines, and branches all revealed barbs and grew eyes, rushing towards the cultivators. In an instant, these roots, vines, and branches covered the sky and the earth.

A few screams were heard, then silence.

After a while, the vines, roots, and branches slowly dispersed, the thorns and eyes disappeared, and the dense forest returned to its original state, except for a few more skeletons on the ground.

The ground was piled high with skeletons; at least several thousand cultivators had died here. These skeletons were shrouded in gray mist.

That strange flower continues to bloom, waiting for its next prey.

About an hour later, a red light came from the sky. As the red light approached, a girl of unparalleled beauty appeared.

The girl was dressed in red, with a pearl and jade headdress on her long black hair, a green gemstone between her eyebrows, and golden ribbons wrapped around her hair. She stood in the air, looking down at the dense forest below, and noticed the red glow in the distance.

This girl was none other than A Yao's fire-elemental clone.

Red-clad Ayao flew towards the dazzling red clouds ahead. Like the others before her, she saw the strange flower. She flew downwards, and just like before, the tree roots, vines, and flower branches all twisted and turned as if they had come alive, surrounding her and forming a huge green cocoon.

No screams were heard, but flames were seen, burning the green cocoon to ashes. Red-clad Ayao reappeared, flames shooting into the sky from her body, spreading out in rings of fire, instantly incinerating the entire dense forest.

The ground was scorched earth, and the remains of the cultivators who had been killed earlier were burned to ashes.

Red-clad Ayao looked at the pile of magical treasures and rare materials on the scorched earth. Those were the magical treasures of the cultivators who had been killed earlier. Her Phoenix True Fire had burned the storage bag, and the low-level magical treasures, talismans, and other items inside had all turned to ashes. What remained were the useful items.

With a wave of her hand, a thin red needle flew over and landed in front of her.

These fine needles are made from blood crystals and are surrounded by ethereal energy.

This is a secondary immortal artifact or magical treasure.

This magical artifact must have been obtained by the murdered cultivator from the secret realm. It was probably consumed before it could even be used. She slightly curled her lips and put the blood crystal needle, along with other magical artifacts and rare materials, into her storage bag.

After that, a burst of light appeared on A Yao's body, and her figure flew forward like a red rainbow, disappearing into the distant mountains.

Inside a magnificent ancient ruin, a stunningly beautiful young woman dressed in a light blue gauze dress was surrounded by several male cultivators with ill intentions.

The girl in green was A Yao's wood-elemental clone. She coldly stared at the group of male cultivators with ill intentions.

These male cultivators were all at the mid-stage of the Nascent Soul realm. Seeing that A Yao's wood-elemental clone was only at the early stage of the Nascent Soul realm and possessed an unparalleled beauty, they were overcome by lust and wanted to turn A Yao's clone into their shared furnace.

"Little beauty, you'd better not resist, lest you hurt your beautiful face." A pockmarked, ugly male cultivator looked at Qingyi Ayao with a lewd expression.

The others chuckled lewdly.

"Hmph!" Qingyi Ayao snorted coldly, and a powerful aura that was completely unlike that of a Nascent Soul cultivator erupted from her body. White petals appeared around her, numbering over a hundred thousand, each one extremely sharp. Screams rang out as the bodies of the male cultivators were riddled with holes by her.

Their Nascent Souls looked terrified, realizing they had met their match and were about to flee, but A Yao wouldn't let them escape.

A flash of green light appeared in her hand, and a cyan throwing knife materialized. This cyan jade knife was a near-immortal artifact she had obtained from this secret realm. After shooting out, the cyan jade knife split into six, moving with lightning speed, striking each of the fleeing Nascent Soul cultivators.

The nascent souls were all turned into wisps of smoke and vanished into nothingness when struck by the jade blade.

The six throwing knives merged together and flew back into the hand of Qingyi Ayao.

With a flick of her sleeve, Qingyi Ayao collected the magical treasures and storage bags that the male cultivators had dropped from the sky.

————

The mountain peak was ten thousand feet high, and floating before it was a young girl. She wore a pale yellow gauze dress, her face was veiled, revealing a pair of eyes as bright as stars and the moon.
