Finally, Lu Yuan parked his car downstairs in a building called Mingzhu Community. There was a trash can under each building, and apart from some holes that had been dug out by people, there was nothing else in the community.
Zhou Tong's home was on the third floor. After looking around and seeing that there was no one around, the four of them parked their car downstairs without worry.
"Knock knock knock," Deng Yuanyuan gently knocked on the door.
After a while, hurried footsteps came from inside, and then the door was opened.
A bearded man stood behind the door, excitedly preparing to greet Deng Yuanyuan, but he did not expect that there would be several other people besides Deng Yuanyuan.
“Yuanyuan…they…” The man looked away like a frightened mouse, avoiding Lu Yuan and the others.
Lu Yuan glanced at the man in front of him. His face was covered with a beard, making it impossible to tell his exact age. He was wearing only an ill-fitting pair of shorts and a short-sleeved shirt, his clothes hanging loosely like a clown in a circus. He exuded a strong, sour smell.
Deng Yuanyuan quickly said, "Oh, these are some of my neighbors. They came with me because they were worried I might be in danger!"
Zhou Tong took a good look at the three people behind Deng Yuanyuan, and was particularly surprised when he saw Lu Yuan and Wei Xiaoshan. He obviously did not expect that there would be people who could be so strong at this time, with no stubble on their faces and clothes that smelled faintly of laundry detergent.
After a while, the other party seemed to have forgotten to let the people into the house, and seemed to want to talk outside.
At this moment, Du Heng, who was behind Deng Yuanyuan, suddenly spoke up: "Let us in! We have something to say to you! We'll leave after we've finished!"
Lu Yuan immediately wanted to beat up Du Heng, the troublemaker. Du Heng was already terrified, and if Lu Yuan's shout scared him even more, he would be in big trouble!

The room was empty, without any furniture. In the living room, a half-eaten corpse was emitting a foul stench. In the middle of the room, there were several clotheslines with some unknown things hanging on them, which, judging by their color, appeared to be meat.
Deng Yuanyuan and Wei Xiaoshan immediately covered their mouths and retreated.
Suddenly, a wicked glint flashed in Zhou Tong's eyes, and he grabbed Deng Yuanyuan's hand, trying to pull her inside.
Fortunately, Du Heng, who was standing behind Deng Yuanyuan, reacted quickly and grabbed Shen Yuanyuan's other arm.
"Get out of here! Yuanyuan! Come with me! I'll feed you meat! I'll take care of you!" Zhou Tong shouted hoarsely as he tried to speak.
Lu Yuan stepped forward and pulled Deng Yuanyuan's arm back, then used his foot to block the door.
Startled, Deng Yuanyuan screamed incessantly. Du Heng grabbed her and pulled her behind him, then rushed in and shoved Zhou Tong to the ground.
Then he pinned him down and punched him.
"I'll teach you to eat people! You're worse than an animal! I'll beat you to death, you bastard!"
The cowardly Du Heng finally snapped, punching his opponent in the face repeatedly. Not satisfied with the beating, he even pulled out a dagger from his back to finish him off.
Lu Yuan reacted quickly and stopped Du Heng.
"Don't kill him yet! He's still useful!"
Zhou Tong, who had been brutally beaten, lay on the ground on the verge of death, blood gushing from his nose and several teeth knocked out of his mouth.
Lu Yuan grabbed Zhou Tong from the ground and dragged him out of the room. Before leaving, he couldn't help but glance back into the room. He saw that a knife was still stuck in the corpse's chest, the bloodstains on the ground had long since dried, and the whole room was filled with the stench of excrement, urine, blood, and rotting flesh, which was truly nauseating.
Zhou Tong, leaning against the wall, let out an extremely eerie, grotesque laugh.
"Haha! Looks like you guys are living a good life! You're all so well-fed and bloated. I can't stand it anymore, so what's wrong with picking up a dead body to eat? I didn't kill anyone! Why are you treating me like this!"
"Besides, I was eating my father's corpse, my own family member! What business is it of yours!"
Du Heng spat on the ground and said fiercely, "You're not even human! You're worse than an animal! You dare to eat your own father!"
Lu Yuan stopped the furious Du Heng and looked at Zhou Tong, saying, "We came to find you just to ask you a few questions. We're not interested in who you ate!"
"Hmph! Beg me! Beg me! Make this bastard kneel down and kowtow to me, and I'll answer your question!"
With tears in her eyes, Deng Yuanyuan grabbed Du Heng and said, "We won't beg him!"
Lu Yuan sneered and said, "Zhou Tong, you need to understand, you're in our hands now. If you don't cooperate with me, I don't mind sending you to the police! They should be interested in the fact that you murdered your own father!"
Zhou Tong, however, said nonchalantly, "Sure! Take me there! I've been worried about who will kill me! Call the police!"
Seeing that the other party was unresponsive, Lu Yuan became anxious and immediately kicked him to the ground.
"Never mind him! Check his phone for any messages! Looks like this guy isn't going to cooperate!"
So Du Heng went up and searched the other person's body, but found no phone, so he turned around and rushed into the room.
