It was already dinnertime when we arrived at the factory.
After eating a simple, barely edible meal in the cafeteria, I returned to the security guard's duty room.
Not long after he sat down, Lu Yuan heard a shrill commotion coming from inside the villa, along with the sound of things being smashed.
Lu Yuan turned his head and glanced outside, suddenly noticing an unfamiliar car parked in the yard.
So he turned to the security guards who were playing cards nearby and asked, "What's going on? Whose car is that outside?"
"Oh, Brother Lin, the boss came back in person today. He's already been discharged from the hospital."
"Oh, you mean An Haiping has been discharged from the hospital? Goodness, why didn't you tell me about something this big?"
The security guard smiled sheepishly: "Hey, didn't you leave early this morning? We were patrolling and guarding this place when you left. He turned and went back to his seat, turning his head to look out the window.
A luxurious RV was parked in front of the courtyard, and the sounds of banging and playing could be heard from upstairs.
As night fell, the lights in the factory gradually came on.
The only room on the third floor seemed to be dark.
They even lost track of time while arguing.
Just then, a gunshot rang out from above.
Lu Yuan was startled by the gunshot and turned to look behind him.
The security guards were stunned, holding their signs, their minds blank.
Immediately afterwards, someone pointed in the direction of the villa.
"Holy crap, no way, their own people opened fire? Could the boss have been killed?"
Lu Yuan quickly grabbed the hat from the table and shouted to the crowd, "What are you all standing there for? Go check it out! Don't let anyone get killed!"
