Chapter 1343 Reunion

There was a loud bang.

Lu Yuan felt his entire psychological defenses collapse in that instant.

My daughter has turned out like this.

Qiqi's face was dirty and her hair was a mess.

Because of severe malnutrition, he was extremely thin and his face was sallow.

His clothes were tattered and worn. Although they were clearly washed frequently, the colors had faded and there were patches on them. Compared to the other children around him, he looked very different.

The fierce-looking woman was clearly a caregiver looking after the child. The people around her didn't try to stop her at all; it seemed they were used to hitting people.

What saddened Lu Yuan the most was that even after Qi Qi fell to the ground, she still tightly hugged the thing in her arms. She didn't cry, she just pouted.

With a resounding slap, the woman's hand landed heavily on Qiqi's face.

Qiqi turned her face away, tears welling up in her eyes.

Lu Yuan's heart was breaking; he couldn't care less about rules or anything like that now.

He jumped over the wall in one swift motion, then kicked the woman dozens of meters away.

The woman was already lifeless when she crashed into the railing, while Lu Yuan hugged Qi Qi tightly in his arms, tears streaming down his face.

It happened so fast that people nearby hadn't even had time to react.

The woman fell to the ground and was already lifeless, and instantly the people nearby screamed loudly.

The nearby guards began to surround Lu Yuan.

Lu Yuan continued to hold Qi Qi quietly.

Qi Qi looked up at the man in front of her with a surprised expression. She seemed to recognize him, but couldn't quite place who he was.

I had only one thought in my mind: This uncle is so strange. Why is he crying? Why does he look so familiar to me?

Qiqi blinked her big eyes and watched Lu Yuan cry for a long time.

Finally, Lu Yuan wiped away his tears and choked out to his daughter, "Qiqi, do you still recognize me?"

Qi Qi gently shook her head: "I don't know her!"

This phrase, "I don't recognize this," made Lu Yuan feel that he owed her far too much.

He pointed to himself, then to the other person: "I'm your father, Dad's back!"

Qiqi was stunned after hearing this.

Her eyes widened in disbelief that the man in front of her was the same man whose back she only saw in her dreams every night.

"Are you Dad?"

Lu Yuan nodded gently: "Yes, I am your father. From today onwards, I will protect you and your mother, okay? I will never leave you again!"

At that moment, several guards carrying batons rushed up and pointed at the woman's body on the ground: "Put your hands up immediately, or we'll shoot!"

Lu Yuan's eyes were cold as he swept over the people around him: "She was the one who beat my daughter online. I killed her to protect my daughter!"

"Still trying to argue? Arrest him first!"

The person next to him was about to make a move after speaking, but Lu Yuan was no longer the person he used to be.

He made up his mind the moment he saw his daughter that no matter what happened, he could never be separated from them.

Then, Lu Yuan roared and ran wildly in the distance, holding Qi Qi tightly.

The guards behind him started firing in Lu Yuan's direction.

But Lu Yuan didn't care at all as he desperately relied on his powerful sensory system to dodge the bullets from afar.

Qiqi could only watch helplessly as her father led her away at breakneck speed.

She had never realized that someone could be as powerful as Superman.

It seems like everything Mom says is true. Dad is a superman, an all-powerful superman.

He has the ability to protect himself and his family; he is exceptionally capable, and it seems that everything his mother said has come true.

A smile suddenly appeared on Qiqi's lips. He hugged Lu Yuan's neck and whispered, "Dad, it's so good to see you back!"

While running through the air with tears streaming down his face, Lu Yuan finally arrived at the teaching building and, following Qi Qi's directions, immediately found the classroom where Xiao Shan was teaching.

He kicked open the classroom door, where several students were dozing off.

When Lu Yuan carried Qi Qi in, they all stared in disbelief at the man holding a child, their faces filled with panic and astonishment.

Xiao Shan was writing with her back to the blackboard when she was startled by the sudden, gust of wind.

When she turned around, she met Lu Yuan's gaze.

Lu Yuan held his daughter in his arms. The man he had dreamed of day and night had finally returned.

The other person was now standing right in front of her. Instantly, she covered her mouth and hugged Lu Yuan tightly.

The family of three was officially reunited, leaving the students below stunned.

After a long while, Qiqi finally spoke, "Mommy, this is Daddy! Daddy's home!"

Xiao Shan couldn't speak at all, and could only let her tears fall continuously.

Lu Yuan nodded, then his gaze swept over everyone: "Classes are suspended today! From now on, you are free, you're on holiday!"

After a few boys let out a shout, they stopped halfway through. One of them asked casually, "Teacher, are you leaving? Will you come back?"

Xiao Shan wiped away her tears and said with a smile, "There are teachers who are more suitable than me. You should all listen to your teachers from now on. See you again sometime!"

After saying that, she grabbed Lu Yuan's arm and said, "Let's go home!"

Lu Yuan nodded: "Let's go home!"

Then Lu Yuan grabbed Xiao Shan and rushed out.

The two men stood one in front of the other, while the nearby security personnel fired their bullets incessantly, but their accuracy was far worse.

The two of them ran like this, with Lu Yuan carrying Anna back and forth through the city.

Although they were running through a hail of bullets and could lose their lives at any moment, the family of three didn't care at all.

They laughed and ran, as if they were the happiest family in the world.

The two held hands, showing no intention of letting go.

Finally, they reached the exit. Before they could react, they saw two people running quickly out of the inner city.

After quite a while, the guards finally caught up.

But when they learned that the person had already left the inner city, the guards just waved their hands.

They dared not go outside; it was too dangerous there. If they were to go out in their protective gear, they would surely be killed before they had even gone a hundred meters.
