With a "plop," as if a water balloon had burst, the man tried to cry out in pain, but his neck was already tightly gripped by Lu Yuan, and he couldn't make a sound at all. He could only tremble all over, trying to break free from Lu Yuan's restraint, but the strength in Lu Yuan's arms was definitely not something he could easily break free from.
Then Lu Yuan exerted force again, and the crossbow bolt pierced the man's eye and brain. The man shuddered twice and then collapsed to the ground.
Lu Yuan quickly knocked the other person to the ground and closed the door.
An access pass and a dagger were found on the person.
However, he couldn't find the key to the buckle. Lu Yuan put the dagger in his pocket and then, as if nothing had happened, opened the last buckle on the girl's ankle.
When the last latch was released, the daughter was so excited that tears streamed down her face. She kept thanking Lu Yuan, but Lu Yuan shook his head and shushed her.
"Shut up if you don't want to die. If you want to express your gratitude, we can talk about it outside later. This isn't the time to talk about this!"
The girl nodded quickly and stopped making any noise. However, when she was about to take a step forward, she found that she had not walked for so long that she could not control her body at all.
As soon as he took a step, he felt a wave of weakness wash over him and he collapsed to the ground. Fortunately, Lu Yuan reacted quickly and grabbed him.
"What's wrong?"
"My legs... my legs feel a little weak."
Lu Yuan nodded, then took out a piece of chocolate from his pocket. This was something he always carried with him. Chocolate could quickly restore a person's strength, especially in the current low temperature, it could remove the cold from the body in a short time.

The girl nodded.

However, after the other party's voice came through, there was no response from the small room, which immediately made the other party wary.
Lu Yuan quietly gestured for the girl to hide to the side, while he himself gripped his pistol tightly and hid behind the door.
The other party seemed to be intentionally concealing their youthful appearance. Although Lu Yuan had eaten the golden fruit and his senses were quite strong, he still couldn't tell where the other party was. He could only silently lean against the wall.
Suddenly, the door was kicked open, and a dark pistol was thrust out. Without any hesitation, Lu Yuan stepped forward, tripped the man to the ground, and then shot him hard in the back of the head with the pistol. The man immediately collapsed to the ground without making a sound.
Lu Yuan checked the other man's body, put the man's pistol into his own pocket, and then said.
"Come with me now!"
The girl quickly nodded, then stuffed the remaining half of the chocolate into her mouth, and followed Lu Yuan outside.
After turning a corner, Lu Yuan didn't see any other bodyguards. He glanced at the girl again as she walked along the wall. A look of pain appeared on the girl's face, clearly indicating that some rubble and weeds nearby had touched her wound.
But the other party gritted their teeth and held on, without making a sound.
The two quietly walked back the way they had come and were about to leave through the gate.
Just then, the manor gate was suddenly pushed open, and three or five people came out. They immediately saw Lu Yuan, who was preparing to leave with the girl.
Upon seeing this, one of them immediately cried out in alarm.
"Damn it, someone's trying to kidnap her! Catch him quickly, we can't let Kong Hanting get away!"
So the group frantically pulled out their guns and started shooting at Lu Yuan. When Lu Yuan saw this, his heart sank, and he quickly grabbed the panicked girl and ran outside.
