"No, no, no, Captain Lu, I wouldn't dare take your captain's position. I'd rather be the captain of another team!"
Then they all burst into laughter.
However, after comparing them, Hou Qiang's expression finally changed when he saw the last question.
"Wow! Not a single one was wrong! Um... except for that one question! Amazing!"
Niu Wen, however, said calmly, "That's normal. Your emotions fluctuate greatly, making you very easy to detect. Even the slightest issue that touches your emotional defenses will cause a huge fluctuation here!"
Lu Yuan nodded in agreement. Niu Wen was right. Hou Qiang was short-tempered and stubborn, and prone to emotional fluctuations. Even if the lie detector was not used, Lu Yuan was confident that he could get the results quickly through ordinary interrogation.
However, just to be on the safe side, Lu Yuan called over several other team members on duty to conduct the test. The test results were still very accurate, which made Lu Yuan very curious, and he even had an urge to try it himself.
However, upon further reflection, Lu Yuan suppressed his impulse. After all, he had too many secrets, and it wouldn't be good if they were exposed during this test.
So Lu Yuan said to Niu Wen, "Alright, let's call it a day for today's test. The results have been mostly verified. Although there were a few minor differences, they don't affect the overall outcome. Let's hurry up and test it on Yan Bing and Qi Heng! We need to extract valuable information as soon as possible so we can get some rest!"
Everyone nodded in agreement, but Niu Wen paused for a moment and whispered, "Captain, I think you should give it a try too! I think your test results should be more able to detect the problem!"
Upon hearing this, Lu Yuan paused for a moment, then turned around and said, "Forget it! You've all been tested, and the accuracy of this lie detector has already been verified. There's no need to test it again!"
Hou Qiang, who was standing nearby, quickly said, "Captain, I think you have a lot of little secrets. Why don't you take a test? We've already taken tests, so it won't take much time for you to take one too!"
A smile immediately appeared on Lu Yuan's face: "Damn it! What secrets do I have! Hurry up and get to work! Don't you want to rest?"

Hou Qiang, without thinking twice, slapped the other man across the face: "Bullshit! If you dare threaten us again, I'll make sure you get out of here on a stretcher!"
"Hmph! If you've got the guts, then do it! Stop all the talk and no action! I bet you're just a limp man, resorting to womanly tricks! If you've got the guts, kill me! Come on!"
"Don't you fucking think I wouldn't dare! Believe me or not, I'll kill you right now!"
Yan Bing, however, was not afraid at all. He spat a mouthful of phlegm right in front of Hou Qiang and onto Hou Qiang's clothes.
"Haha! Come on! Do it! If you don't, you're a spineless coward, just like my son!"
Hou Qiang was instantly enraged and immediately grabbed a chair to attack. Lu Yuan, standing behind the one-way glass, watched the situation inside and sighed inwardly.
"Hou Qiang's temperament is really not suitable for this interrogation! Can't he see through such an obvious attempt to provoke him?"
After Lu Yuan finished speaking, he was about to open the window to call Hou Qiang when Niu Wen, who was sitting to the side fiddling with the lie detector, stopped Hou Qiang.
"Brother Hou, forget it, he's just trying to provoke you! Don't fall for it! Just ignore him!"
Hou Qiang looked at the thick phlegm on his clothes and became furious: "No way! This bastard has provoked me again and again, I can't take it anymore, I'm going to teach him a lesson today no matter what! I'll accept the demerit if it's a punishment!"

"Hey! You've got a lot of tricks up your sleeve! Fine! I'll take your word for it! I'll spare him for now!"
Seeing the two whispering to each other, Yan Bing realized that her provocation had been easily countered by Niu Wen, and immediately started shouting again, spitting and cursing at his family without stopping for a moment.
Hou Qiang took off his coat and then wiped the spot where he had spat phlegm on Yan Bing's face.
Yan Bing felt a wave of nausea and yelled, "You bastard! You dare touch me? I'll get someone to deal with you when I get out of here!"
"Hmph! Fine! Let's see who you talk to!" Hou Qiang finally returned to normal, and instead of arguing or making a scene with Yan Bing, he calmly confronted her.
