Xiao Shan's father immediately sighed and said with a look of utter disappointment, "I've made myself perfectly clear, how come you can't understand? Are you pretending to be nice to me?"
Lu Yuan felt particularly innocent. He had already stated that he would not lay a hand on Xiao Shan before the marriage, at most he would just brush against her outside without going in, but it seemed that his father-in-law wouldn't even allow that. This made Lu Yuan feel very bitter.

Just then, Mr. Lu, the second-in-command of the negotiation experts, walked over.
"Huh? Dad? Why aren't you asleep yet?"
Lu's father sat in his seat, staring intently at Lu Yuan, making Lu Yuan feel uneasy.
"Dad! Why are you staring at me like that? Is there something on my face?"
Mr. Lu shook his head, ignoring Lu Yuan's doubts, and muttered to himself.
"That doesn't seem like it! The people in our Lu family are all quite capable! How come you're not up to the task?"
Lu Yuan was completely confused by what he was being told.

"Son, it's been so long, haven't anything happened between you and Xiaoshan every day?"
Lu Yuan immediately understood that his father and Xiao Shan's father had obviously conspired together.

"Hmm? Something happened? But you don't look like it. Tell me, what happened!"
"Um...of course it's holding hands and kissing! Why are you asking this? Isn't that normal?"
Lu's father glanced outside, then put his arm around Lu Yuan's shoulder and whispered.
"Is that all? Has that been done yet?"
Lu Yuan felt like crying but had no tears left.
"Dad! I'll tell Xiaoshan about this slowly. Please stop bothering us, okay? We want things to happen naturally. You're forcing us like this. Even if Xiaoshan doesn't agree, I won't agree either!"
Lu's father immediately stared intently at Lu Yuan.
"Sigh! Son, are you having problems in that area?"
Lu Yuan was speechless. What kind of thought process did these parents have? It was simply appalling.
"Dad! Don't worry, I'm fine! You don't need to worry about me. And please don't pressure us with these kinds of problems in the future, okay? If there's nothing else, I'll go back to sleep now."
After saying that, Lu Yuan stood up and walked towards the room. However, Lu's father was still unwilling to give up. He stood aside and called out to Lu Yuan in a low voice, "Son, it's okay. Lu Yuan tripped and almost fell to the ground. He leaned against the wall and looked at his father and Xiao Shan's father, who both looked concerned. He suddenly felt a sense of helplessness.
"Looks like I need to prove myself!"
Back in his room, Lu Yuan stared at the ceiling and slowly fell into deep thought. He didn't know what was going through his mind; it was all a jumble of random thoughts. Finally, he fell asleep.
The next morning, Lu Yuan went downstairs for breakfast. Xiao Shan pushed a plate of fried eggs next to him, but she didn't dare to look at herself.
Lu Yuan was somewhat surprised and wanted to ask, but then he kept his mouth shut. His whole family was there, and this was clearly not the time to waste time asking questions.
So the two quickly finished their meal, and Lu Yuan dragged Xiao Shan to his room.
Before she could even speak, Xiao Shan spoke first.
"My mom and your mom came to see me yesterday! They said they want us to live together, or they'll take my bed away! What should I do?!"
