He was tall and thin, and he exuded a strange aura, making him seem like an assassin, yet without any murderous intent.
"You must be Zhao Qing?"
The other person's voice was so hoarse when they spoke.
Zhao Qing subconsciously took half a step back. He didn't know the other party's identity, but the fact that the other party could appear in this place meant that the other party must have come for him.
He didn't think he was likely to encounter anything good, and subconsciously began to be wary.

However, just as Zhao Qing reached a seven-cornered bend, a car suddenly rushed out from behind and blocked his way, and then another car appeared in the road ahead.
The man next to him muttered under his breath, "Damn it!"
Then he immediately shouted at Zhao Qing, "Run!"
Zhao Qing slammed on the brakes instantly, the screeching sound carrying far through the night.
Zhao Qing realized something was wrong, and just as he was about to pick up the phone and dial,
Suddenly the car door was flung open again, and a man dressed in black pointed a pistol at his head.
The car door on the opposite side was also smashed open.
Bang!
A sudden gunshot rang out, and the man who had just kidnapped Zhao Qing was shot between the eyebrows and died instantly.
Then a man in black pointed a gun at Zhao Qing and said...
"I advise you to behave yourself, put down your phone, and cooperate with our work!"
Zhao Qing, her face full of anger, was pinned to the side and handcuffed.
"Who are you? Who sent you?"
However, the other party did not answer a word. After taking Zhao Qing away, the leader of the team spoke softly into the walkie-talkie on his shoulder.
"Zhao Qing has been captured. Next, we will arrest the others!"
Throughout the night, traffic continued to flow, and many members of the Zhao family disappeared without a trace.
It was a peaceful night, and no one knew what had happened in the city.
Only the Zhao family realized that they might be in danger.
Zhao Qing was wearing a black hood, so he couldn't see his surroundings clearly. He could only feel the lights flickering and then plunging into darkness. After wandering around for a long time, he finally arrived at a place.
When he opened his eyes, the glaring light made it almost impossible for him to see the person opposite him clearly.
It took him quite a while to adjust to the glaring environment.
After a long time, Zhao Qing slowly opened her eyes.
He saw a very strange-looking person standing in front of him, but he felt cold sweat pouring down his body because the person was actually an ape.
The man was dressed in an elegant suit, holding a golden cane, and wearing a golden crown. He looked dignified and noble, like an emperor.
At that moment, Zhao Qing realized that the person sitting in front of him was Xiao En, the leader of the apes.
What do you want from me?
After realizing the other party's identity, Zhao Qing's voice clearly lost its previous warmth.
Sean smiled gently, put down his wine glass, then placed his hands on his cane and looked closely at Zhao Qing.
"I have reviewed your information. You are a smart person. With your leadership, your family will regain its glory!"
"This has nothing to do with you. I'm asking you why you captured me and what you want to do with me!"
Sean smiled gently, then walked up to the other person and put his hand on his shoulder.
"I have an idea. I want you to be one of my people. I really value you. You're a smart person, and dealing with you would be much easier for me. However, I have some concerns, which is that you're just too stubborn!"
Upon hearing his words, Zhao Qing frowned. He didn't know what the other party wanted to discuss regarding his section of the river, but he knew whether the person had any good intentions.
"Forget about it. I will not cooperate with you. Only one side, humans or apes, can exist in this world! And in the end, humans will be the victors!"
Upon hearing Zhao Qing's words, Sean showed a helpless expression. He shook his head and gently sat down opposite him.
"Hearing your words, I feel very heartbroken. Why can't humans accept us? We apes will also evolve into a new species like you humans. We will be human too in the future. Why can't you accept us? Aren't you humans evolved from those apes?"
