Go check the eggshells; there are biological components from the eggshell surface inside. I always feel something's strange about them. Today I found more than a dozen different kinds of creatures.
"We've never encountered anything like this before. Have some geological or weather issues been discovered in the three zones?"
The lab technician paused slightly after receiving the item.
"That's impossible. The meteorological team didn't report anything. It's normal that there haven't been any geological disasters or weather changes during this period."
Sometimes the weather changes, and the temperature might just be a little higher, maybe in the 50s. As long as we wear heat-resistant clothing, there shouldn't be any problems. Is that considered abnormal?
Chen Yan shook his head, because he himself couldn't guess what had caused these problems.
So he told the other person to hurry up and do the experiment, and that he would wait until he got the results and then go home for dinner.
He was exhausted from working from morning till night and had no energy left. All he wanted to do was wait for the lab report to come home so he could finally sleep peacefully.
The lab technician brought the items to the laboratory and placed them one by one into the testing instrument.
The test results came out in about half an hour.
Both the lab technician and Chen Yan were stunned when they saw the test results.
Chen Yan looked at the genome sequences being tested, and a serious expression immediately appeared on her face.
"How could this be? Did you notice anything?"
The lab technician standing nearby wore the same expression, pointing to the genomes on the report.
"There must have been human intervention. I even suspect that someone deliberately modified the genes of these commercially raised animals to look like this!"
"I think so too. You can continue to do some secondary research with these materials. I'll send these experimental reports to Lu Yuan first."
I suspect someone might be plotting something malicious, perhaps it's an ape, or maybe it's something from Sky Corporation. We need to be prepared!
The lab technician nodded immediately, then took the items and went back into the lab.
Chen Yan sat in his chair, looking at the reports in his hands, his expression growing increasingly serious. Then he picked up the phone and dialed Lu Yuan's number.
Are you home?
Lu Yuan, who was preparing dinner, was slightly surprised when he received a call from Chen Yan. He picked up the phone and softly hummed in response.
"Yes, I'm preparing dinner at home. Is there anything I can help you with?"
"I ran into a little trouble in District 3 today, and I thought I'd better tell you about it in person. This thing might be a bit dangerous, or maybe I'm just being too nervous. I'd like to talk to you about it when we meet!"
"Okay, come on over. Have you had dinner yet? If not, I'll have Xiaoshan prepare some for you!"

After hanging up the phone, Chen Yan did not wait for the second report results and drove directly to Lu Yuan's residence.
Upon arriving at the destination, Xiao Shan greeted Chen Yan warmly. Seeing that Chen Yan was holding a report and had a serious expression, he immediately realized something was wrong. He then led her to Lu Yuan's study.
"Chen Yan is here. She says she has something important to tell you!"
Lu Yuan put down the document in his hand, nodded slightly, and then pointed to the chair next to him.
"Okay, sit down. Xiaoshan, go prepare some tea, and also get Chen Yan a meal later. We'll eat together in a bit!"
"Okay, you guys chat first, I'll go prepare dinner!"
Xiao Shan left the room and turned to leave. Chen Yan sat down in a chair and handed her the report.
"Today I took my students to Zone 3 to see the local flora and fauna, and we encountered more than a dozen different kinds of creatures!"
After listening, Lu Yuan gently flicked the ash from his cigarette.
"Isn't this normal? It's normal that they've brought in a lot of creatures we've never seen before in Zone 3!"
"This is not normal at all, okay? Normally, I'm lucky if I can find two or three of them in a round trip. Sometimes I have to go out of my way to find them!"
I was so busy today that I didn't even have time to look for them. I just wandered around and found more than ten kinds. Do you think that's strange?
Lu Yuan frowned immediately upon hearing this. "What? You found more than a dozen kinds just by casually strolling around? No way, did you forget or what? This many is definitely not normal!"
"That means I immediately took these things to the lab without even eating, and I just found these things when I checked them out. Take a look!"

After chatting for a while, the two of them had dinner together.
Several more days have passed. Chen Yan has lost all interest in attending classes these past few days, spending all her time in the lab or going to Room 3.
