The call was answered after a while. Lu Yuan could hear that Du Heng seemed to be busy with something and didn't even look at the person on the other end of the line.
"Hello! Who is this? Are you here for an interview? If so, please call another number! I only accept calls from partners! If there's nothing else, you can hang up now!" Du Heng said, about to hang up.
Hearing the other party about to hang up, Lu Yuan felt a pang of frustration. Was the survivor base really that busy right now? But what exactly were they busy with? Du Heng, though a top student, was an expert in construction, but now that the survivor base was built, was it because it hadn't been decorated yet?
"Ahem! It's me! Is Boss Du so busy these days that he won't even answer a phone call?" Lu Yuan asked in a lazy voice.
The other party was clearly taken aback for a moment, then took the microphone aside and looked at the contact name on it. When they found that it was Lu Yuan calling, they immediately burst out laughing.
"Haha! Lu Yuan, who do you think you are?! Why did you suddenly decide to call me? You wouldn't come here unless you needed something!"
Lu Yuan thought to himself that this guy was usually not this talkative. What was going on today that made him seem a little uncomfortable, and even started joking with him? It was really rare to see him like this!
"Du Heng, I want to ask you something! By the way, are you at the survivor base right now?"

So Lu Yuan went home, washed up, ate something casually, and then lay down on the sofa to play on his phone.
A few hours later, there was a knock on the door. Wei Xiaoshan stood up to open it, but Lu Yuan walked over with a look of surprise on his face.
"I'll go! It's someone I know!"
Seeing Lu Yuan's beaming face, Wei Xiaoshan looked at him with surprise.
"What acquaintance? Do I know them?"
Lu Yuan nodded: "Of course you know him, and my dad knows him too! It's Du Heng!"
"Du Heng? That's the top student?"
"That's right, it's him! It's better to talk to him to make things clear. He also has something to ask me! I'll go open the door!"
After Lu Yuan finished speaking, he walked outside and opened the door. Sure enough, he saw Du Heng standing outside the door wearing a one-piece raincoat.
"Is it convenient for me to go in from here?" the other person asked, glancing inside.

Then, with practiced ease, I walked through the air shower and blew myself into the room.
After arriving at the room, Wei Xiaoshan and Lu Yuan finally got a good look at their long-lost friend. Du Heng's originally thin body seemed to have changed slightly. Lu Yuan couldn't see any major changes either, except that his temperament was completely different from before.

As the two were sizing each other up, Du Heng was also observing Wei Xiaoshan and Lu Yuan. When he saw that Wei Xiaoshan still looked like a girl, he whispered in Lu Yuan's ear, "Brother, you two aren't married yet? Did you get pregnant first and then buy the ticket? Where's the child?"
Lu Yuan was speechless after hearing this.
"What are you saying! What child! There's no child! Don't talk nonsense! Xiaoshan and I are completely innocent!"
The other person paused for a moment, then whispered, "Holy crap! You're kidding me! You brought your wife home and still claim you're innocent? Who would believe that? You really didn't get a child? It's been over a year! Are you impotent?"
