Chapter 1565 Wang Mingming's Crisis

That's right, these people were the assassins Zhao Ping sent to kill Wang Mingming.

Zhao Ping's meaning was simple: you've messed with me today, and you'll have to pay the price.

So he bypassed all other forces and went directly to the assassin guild, spending a large sum of money to kill Wang Mingming first, and then the driver would take revenge on Lu Yuan later.

This could cast a greater shadow on their psyche, leaving them no time to care about their own lives and constantly living in fear.

However, his wishful thinking was likely to be thwarted, because none of Lu Yuan and his group were simple people; none of the people who came out of Dragon Island were simple.

There were six assassins dispatched this time, three of whom stayed outside and three went inside the house.

If the operation fails, the assassins outside will take over from those inside and continue the assassination until Wang Mingming is killed.

These assassins are all elite members of the assassin guild, each with at least dozens of lives on their hands, making them arguably the most elite force among assassins.

They acted swiftly, and every step was planned in advance.

In order to capture all these people in one fell swoop, Wang Mingming decided to play a game with them, since he had nothing better to do anyway.

So he found a pillow and stuffed it into the blankets, pretending to be asleep. Then he hid in the closet and waited quietly.

Finally, footsteps came from downstairs, as if someone was assigning tasks. They discussed for a while in front of the stairwell, and then the footsteps split up and went to the sides of the building.

One of the men, holding a silenced pistol, slowly walked into the room.

The bedroom is the most dangerous place, but because the house is so big, they have a total of five bedrooms and one master bedroom on the second and third floors.

Wang Mingming planned to leave the master bedroom to himself and the largest room on the third floor to his younger sister.

So he was hiding in his room at the moment. If the other party came in to search, they certainly wouldn't find him so easily. They didn't seem to realize that their whereabouts had been exposed.

Moreover, they had no idea that they were about to face an extremely powerful being, a human even more ferocious than the mutants.

The first assassin, gun in hand, stealthily approached the room. The first thing he saw on the bed was a bulge that looked like a person's back, but not quite.

As an assassin, he was extremely perceptive and would never put himself in danger unless absolutely necessary. So he stood at the doorway and observed carefully for a while.

After his eyes adjusted to the darkness, he quietly slipped into the room. He didn't fire immediately, worried that he might get into trouble if he shot the wrong person.

When he approached the bed, he found that it looked like the outline of a pillow. Especially when he looked at the part of the pillow that was sticking out, there was no head at all. He just sneered.

"Heh, you think you can fool me with this kind of trick? Do you really think all these years of being an assassin have been for nothing!"

Then, when he lifted the blanket to confirm that no one had been found in the house, he realized that Wang Mingming was smarter than he had imagined.

He then took out his pistol and began searching bit by bit, and just as he opened the wardrobe, a large hand suddenly shot out from inside with lightning speed.

Although the assassin was prepared to escape, his speed was no match for Wang Mingming, who had eaten countless golden pigeons.

With a wave of his hand, the other party dragged him inside, and Wang Mingming snatched his pistol away.

It fell to the ground with a thud.

The other party let out a low growl.

Then Wang Mingming grabbed the other man by the neck, checked his teeth to make sure he wasn't hiding any drugs, and then felt relieved. He pinned the man to the ground, found a rope, and tied his hands behind his back.

"I didn't come looking for you, but you came looking for me. What place are you from? Who sent you here!"

A cold glint flashed in the assassin's eyes, and he spat fiercely onto the ground.

"I'm not telling you, so forget about it!"

Wang Mingming did indeed have a smirk on his face as he slammed a punch into the other man's shoulder.

A sharp pain shot through him, and he felt his entire arm begin to swell.

His shoulder rapidly became congested, swollen, and turned black, all visible to the naked eye.

He felt as if his shoulder had been hit by a large truck, and the muscles in his shoulder felt like they were being torn apart.

Just moments ago, he could move his right hand easily, but after being punched by the other party, he felt that his shoulder blade was shattered, and his muscle and nerve tissues were broken.

The intense pain almost made him pass out, but he gritted his teeth and persevered. Then, Wang Mingming landed a second punch on his opponent's other shoulder.

This time, he finally couldn't hold on and collapsed.

Wang Mingming sneered, threw the other person into the wardrobe, and then found two pieces of rags to stuff into the other person's mouth to prevent him from escaping.

However, it seems unlikely that this guy will wake up anytime soon, and with his severely injured shoulder, it's likely that both of his arms are now useless, making a policy change almost impossible.

Then Wang Mingming left the room and prepared to walk towards the second person. However, he overlooked one thing: these assassins must have kept a very secret communication tool between them.

When the first assassin was wounded, the people outside had already received the signal, because the assassin had installed a simple communicator under his feet, which would immediately sound an alarm if his companions were in any abnormal situation or their lives were threatened.

Wang Mingming, who had just stepped out, immediately sensed danger. When he tried to dodge, it was too late.

Suddenly, a sound came from the darkness, followed by a flash of light. A cold glint flashed in Wang Mingming's eyes, and then he leaped high into the air.

The next second, Wang Mingming felt a sharp pain in his body, and then a bullet hit his stomach, but this did not affect his subsequent actions at all.

Wang Mingming gritted her teeth, endured the pain, and lunged directly towards the other person.

Upon realizing he had been exposed, the assassin immediately picked up his pistol and pulled the trigger.

A series of gunshots rang out.

Wang Mingming suddenly disappeared into the air. The next second, before the other party could react, Wang Mingming had already appeared in front of him.

"Go to hell!"
