The next morning, Lu Yuan arrived at the research institute again, greeted his superior, and said he needed to take a day off. His superior didn't seem too surprised and nodded in agreement, indicating that Lu Yuan could use his time as he pleased, as long as he didn't cause him any trouble. Lu Yuan nodded and excitedly headed towards the East District.
When Lu Yuan arrived at the transportation department, he saw several cars busy loading goods. Although he didn't know where they were being transported, he was still somewhat surprised when he saw some of the food. While the goods were not as plentiful as before, there was a wide variety of them. Some of the seafood looked particularly fresh. Lu Yuan didn't know where they got the seafood, but he knew that these were things that could only be found in the wealthy areas of the East District.
When the workers saw Lu Yuan's unfamiliar face, they glanced at him briefly but said nothing. Everyone here was busy, and it was extremely rare to see someone as leisurely as Lu Yuan.
Just as Lu Yuan was casually strolling around, a man suddenly walked over with an angry look on his face and said to Lu Yuan directly, "This is a restricted area of the warehouse. You, an outsider, are just loitering around here. What? Get out of here right now!"
Lu Yuan looked at the other person with a smile and said, "Hello, I'm looking for Chen Bin. I don't know if he's here?"
A look of disdain crossed the other person's face, and then he said impatiently, "What do you want with our Manager Chen? Don't you know that our Manager Chen generally doesn't see anyone else? Get out of here, this isn't a place for you. And don't be sneaking around here looking at things like that. If something is really missing, you'll be the first one arrested!"
The man spoke to Lu Yuan in a very unfriendly tone, with a hint of threat in his expression.
Lu Yuan sighed and prepared to leave when a man rode in on an electric scooter, looking travel-worn. Seeing someone stop and stare at Lu Yuan, he angrily stopped his scooter and shouted, "What are you all doing? The goods for today haven't been loaded yet! What are you doing here? Get to work, or you won't get lunch today!"
Everyone shrank back and went back to their work, while the man who had previously looked at them with disdain immediately put on a fawning smile and went over to them.
"Manager Chen, you're here. We'll be loading this batch of goods soon. Also, the lab recently supplied another batch of seafood. Do you need me to check it?"
Upon hearing that the other person was addressed as Supervisor Chen, and that the person Lu Yuan was looking for was indeed the supervisor, he immediately went to greet him.
The obsequious man glared at Lu Yuan as he approached, but said nothing. Lu Yuan pretended not to notice and continued to greet Chen Bin, saying, "Hello, Manager Chen, I need to talk to you about something!"
Chen Bin heard someone call his name from behind, and he immediately turned around to look. He saw Lu Yuan standing behind him with a smile on his face, which made him somewhat puzzled.

Seeing the suspicious look on the other person's face, Lu Yuan quickly put on an innocent smile and said, "Oh, my name is Lu Yuan, and I'm a staff member in the Bloodthirsty Black Beetle Prevention Office!"

Seeing that Chen Bin had no interest in him, Lu Yuan sighed, glanced at Chen Bin's back, and then turned and left.

So at noon, Lu Yuan waited outside the gate of the transportation department. Just when everyone left the transportation department to get food in the canteen, Lu Yuan saw Chen Bin again. He saw Chen Bin carrying a small bag and walking quickly towards the restaurant.

Seeing that the other person had no intention of engaging with him, Lu Yuan still didn't give up on him and followed him toward the cafeteria. Step by step, the other person quickened his pace, and Lu Yuan also quickened his pace to keep up.
However, when Lu Yuan was getting food, he patted Chen Bin on the back, but Chen Bin didn't seem to want to talk to him.
Lu Yuan, carrying his lunchbox, found a place to sit down and sat down in front of the other man. Chen Bin finally couldn't hold back any longer. He glared at Lu Yuan and whispered, "What do you want from me? Let me tell you, if you're trying to get those things from me, I absolutely won't do it. Also, I'm not interested in your black market people. I just want to live a normal life, that's all. I hope you won't bother me anymore!"
