Chapter 1664 Breaking into the Mansion

"Oh, it was him. Wasn't he already in jail? How come he's been released again?"

"What? He's in jail? What did he do before you knew him that got you in jail?"

"It seems he accidentally shot and killed one of his own men, and was later reported and imprisoned!"

After the phone call, everyone was in a frenzy.

"What? Someone like that can be reused? Looks like he got some help from a benefactor!"

Listening to their conversation, Zhou Tong's eyes lit up, and he began to investigate some of the incidents involving Liu Hui.

After some investigation, Zhou Tong's eyes suddenly lit up.

He gently touched Lu Yuan's shoulder, then pointed to the computer screen.

"Look at this guy, he's definitely something else!"

Lu Yuan didn't know what he was referring to, so he turned his head and glanced at the other person's computer.

You won't believe it until you see it, and what you find will shock you.

The computer screen showed that the other party had previously investigated the bureau leaders, but the investigation was terminated due to some secrets.

"I see. He wasn't imprisoned for murder, but for something else!"

Zhou Tong nodded slightly, then whispered something in Lu Yuan's ear.

"I suspect this is a complete deal. This Liu Hui probably doesn't even know that Earth is about to be destroyed, so he volunteered to become the captain to help them manage their subordinates in order to survive!"

These people can leave Earth smoothly, which will avoid attracting attention and also silence the media!

Lu Yuan nodded slightly. Zhou Tong's analysis was correct, and he thought so too.

"It seems we only need to deal with Liu Hui. I wonder how easy it is to handle him!"

Lu Yuan's current concern is whether Liu Hui is easy to deal with. If this guy gives orders recklessly, then all the companies, big and small, on Earth will probably be restricted.

The overall plan for planetary engines is now underway. Each engine has limited power, and the lack of any one of them could lead to the failure of the entire plan.

Therefore, Lu Yuan cannot afford to fail; he must deal with this person.

A cold glint flashed in his eyes as he stared intently at Liu Hui, who was speaking eloquently on the stage.

When Liu Hui had finished speaking, the people in the audience applauded.

Seeing that the other party had finished speaking and was preparing to leave, Lu Yuan gave Zhou Tong a wink.

The two of them walked off in a different direction.

They left the venue early because they were worried that they would be surrounded by reporters and have difficulty escaping.

Now they need to leave here as soon as possible, then follow Liu Hui and talk to him privately about future plans, giving him a heads-up beforehand.

Otherwise, if the other party really insists on going its own way, they will have some action plans.

When Liu Hui stepped off the stage, the reporters swarmed around him.

His bodyguards pushed the reporters aside, and Liu Hui only answered a few of the more important questions, giving ambiguous answers without providing any particularly valuable clues.

Reporters swarmed around the scene, but they were no match for the soldiers armed with live ammunition.

The reporters were quickly pushed aside, and Liu Hui naturally went downstairs.

However, just as he left, two figures followed him.

Liu Hui got into a military vehicle, and then more than a dozen military vehicles surrounded him and continued driving forward.

Lu Yuan and Zhou Tong didn't hesitate either, immediately pulling out two cars from the side to follow behind.

They followed him from a distance that was neither too close nor too far, until they arrived at a military compound.

Ordinary people cannot enter the military compound. Moreover, it is a compound for high-ranking military officers. To enter, one must be at least a general.

Lu Yuan had been here before; he even owned an apartment here. He showed his identification along with Zhou Tong and went inside.

No one suspected Lu Yuan, after all, there were quite a few reporters following them all the way, but only Lu Yuan and Zhou Tong were allowed to enter.

After entering the military compound, Lu Yuan glanced at the other person's residence, then looked down at the time.

"There's no time to lose. He probably has another banquet tonight. If we go to him now, we should still have a chance to talk to him!"

Zhou Tong nodded immediately.

"Okay, you can go in. I'll keep watch outside and let you know as soon as I get any news!"

After giving a nod, Lu Yuan quickly arrived outside his villa.

There were many guards in front of the villa. Once they got close, these guards would immediately detect their presence. There were also various electronic sensing systems around the area, but fortunately, Lu Yuan was not worried about these things.

He tossed something that looked like a remote control into his hand and gently pressed the red button.

With a single beep, the surrounding esports scene instantly went out of control.

In less than a second, Lu Yuan leaped over the wall and entered the other party's villa.

Zhou Tong was outside a building not far away, observing with binoculars. He would immediately signal Lu Yuan if there was any disturbance.

As soon as Lu Yuan entered the villa, he saw the other party's car parked in the parking lot outside.

The driver was wiping the military vehicle with a rag.

Lu Yuan quietly slipped into the villa. Several servants were busy inside, some mopping and sweeping, some tidying clothes, and others preparing meals.
