He set an alarm for three hours, and when it went off, he turned it off. Lu Yuan got up and went downstairs. He saw Chen Ke still there, staring at him without blinking. Lu Yuan nodded with satisfaction and handed her a bottle of water.
"How's it going? Any signs that it's about to come out?"
Chen Ke took the water, then pointed into the distance and said, "There's no sound. They must be asleep. It's almost 3 a.m. now. They must have left this morning!"
