The scene immediately descended into chaos. Sun Tao hadn't brought many people this time, only a dozen or so, who were no match for the hundreds of miners. They were all pinned to the ground.
After collecting all the flashlights, Lu Yuan turned on the bulbs and discovered that the nameplates on each bulb were the same brand as the bulb used in the mining accident.
Sun Tao knew he had been exposed, but he still gritted his teeth and said, "What are you doing! What are you doing? You've damaged our lights, you have to pay for them!"
Lu Yuan sneered, then took out the light bulb he had picked up in the mine from his pocket.
"This is a light bulb I found in our mine. It's the exact same brand as the ones you use. How are you going to explain this to me?!"
Sun Tao, still defiant and unyielding, retorted, "Using the same brand a lot proves nothing! Do you really think you can prove I did it with this tiny bit of evidence? Let me tell you, release our men right now, or you're in big trouble!"
Lu Yuan sneered, then said to the crowd, "Tie them all up. I'm going to interrogate them one by one until they explain themselves clearly. Otherwise, they'll stay here with me!"
Upon hearing Lu Yuan's words, Sun Tao panicked. He was now tied up and clearly no match for Lu Yuan. All he could do was wail and curse, "I'm from the survivor base! If you dare touch me, you're asking for trouble! Do you know what my relationship is with President Tan of the survivor base? He's my sworn brother! If he finds out that you're the one who captured me, your base will be out of luck!"
