Chapter 208 A New Identity is Needed

After listening, Lu Yuan's eyes showed a look of surprise. They had taken down the military base's headquarters. He hadn't expected them to have so much stuff.

"Really? How could Sun Laosan have such power to take over someone else's base?!"

A hint of fear flashed in Sun Yan's eyes: "I've only heard about these things, but I've never seen them. However, he has a lot of power, with several thousand armed men under his command. They often go out to arrest people. I heard that they lock up some women and eat them, and they kill most of the men. His ruthlessness is well-known in this area, so you'd better not go there. Let's think of another way!"

Upon hearing this, Lu Yuan's heart sank. The fear in the other person's eyes told him that she was not lying. It seemed that he had some deep hatred for this Sun Laosan, and that he might have even escaped from Sun Laosan.

After thinking for a while and having a fierce internal struggle, Lu Yuan finally decided that getting the plane back from Sun Laosan to rescue his family was the most important thing. As for the danger, Lu Yuan felt that as long as he gave Sun Laosan what he wanted, he wouldn't have to worry about Sun Laosan refusing to trade with him.

"Okay, thank you for reminding me, I understand. But I still hope you can take me to Sun Laosan's place, or even just give me directions. I absolutely won't cause you any trouble!"

Hearing Lu Yuan say that, Sun Yan showed a guilty look on her face. She lowered her head and said, "I should have known better than to tell you. It's really too dangerous there. My brother and I only know how to get out of there!"

Lu Yuan thought to himself that he was right. From the fear in Sun Yan's eyes, he knew that Sun Yan's experience must have been extremely tragic, and that it had left an indelible fear in her heart.

"It's alright, just take me there. The rest of the time is none of your business. If you give me a few directions to find Sun Laosan, I'll give you some more food!"

Seeing that the other party was silent, Lu Yuan quickly said, "Ah."

Sun Yan's expression immediately turned serious. She quickly waved her hand and said, "No, no, I'm not thinking about your food. It's just that it's really too dangerous there. I advise you not to go!"

In the end, Lu Yuan persuaded the other party to tell him the location. Sun Yan wanted to say something more, but she kept quiet and could only pray silently in her heart.

Following the instructions, Lu Yuan rode his motorcycle at a brisk pace for about an hour before finally spotting a dense cluster of tents on a high slope in the distance.

Lu Yuan turned off the car and parked it where he was. He took out his binoculars and looked into the distance. He saw that there were about a dozen guards in front of the camp gate, all of them holding guns. What surprised Lu Yuan even more was that there were two tanks guarding the entrance to the base.

"Damn, if you didn't know better, you'd think it was a military camp. I never expected it to be a private armed force. It'll probably be really difficult to get in here."

As Lu Yuan looked around with his binoculars, he suddenly spotted a convoy slowly approaching Sun Laosan's camp in the distance.

When the guards saw cars approaching in the distance, they immediately stepped forward, raised their hands, and gestured for the cars to stop. The cars then came to a halt.

A middle-aged man with gray hair got out of the front of the first car. He took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and bowed as he offered them to the other person.

The guards didn't stand on ceremony. After accepting the cigarettes, they said something to the man, who smiled and then took out a stack of identification documents from his pocket and handed them to him.

The guards then distributed the identification to several people nearby for inspection. After a while, the guards stubbed out their cigarettes, handed the identification back to the man, and then waved to someone in the distance.

The person in the guard post nodded, then opened the iron gate. The middle-aged man thanked them again, got into the car, and drove inside.

As the convoy entered, Lu Yuan's view was blocked by the iron gate.

Upon seeing this scene, Lu Yuan couldn't help but have a thought: if the other side's camp requires an entry pass, it means that it seems that this base can be entered, but only with a pass. So where can he find this pass?

"By the way, that middle-aged man seemed quite polite to the guards. He's probably a businessman or some other resident who has no connection with their armed forces. If we can get in touch with him, we might be able to infiltrate the camp!"

Thinking of this, Lu Yuan was overjoyed. So he found a secluded spot on the road where the convoy had just passed and hid there, waiting for them to come out.

Because he didn't know when the other party would be able to come out, and was a little worried that the other party had gone in just to survive, Lu Yuan simply couldn't accept waiting for ten days or half a month. He planned to stop the first car outside, and as for whether the other party was an armed force, Lu Yuan no longer cared.

Lu Yuan took out some clothes from his dimensional space, found a sheltered mountain hollow, wrapped himself in a windproof blanket and fleece sleeping bag, and kept his eyes fixed on the outside to make sure he could see anyone coming out.

As darkness fell, sandstorms blew up from time to time, scattering sand and dust into the air, leaving the world shrouded in a gray haze.

Lu Yuan squinted and had been staring for more than two hours, but when no car came out, he changed his posture and continued to stare.
