After wailing for a while, the boy was helped up by several boys behind him. He touched his slurred mouth and immediately cried out in alarm.
"Damn it! You dare touch me! Beat him up! I'll take responsibility if anything happens!"
The boy screamed desperately, but the other boys beside him didn't dare to move at all. They saw that Lu Yuan's gun was already cocked and pointed at their heads. Especially after seeing Lu Yuan's fierce eyes, none of them dared to move an inch. They didn't even doubt that if they dared to make another move, he would pull the trigger.
"Heh! You little brats, you're pretty arrogant! I suspect you're involved in the murder case from a while ago! Tie them all up and take them away!"
The team members beside him didn't dare to move at all, which made Lu Yuan quite angry.
"Niu Ping! Tie them all up! Take them all back! Do you hear me?!"
Niu Ping cursed inwardly, thinking that these people were just unlucky to have provoked his captain, and now they were in this predicament. He then shakily pulled out handcuffs from his pocket.
Hou Qiang, who had just been beaten, had a look of vengeful pleasure in his eyes. He then walked past Niu Ping, took out handcuffs from his pocket, and handcuffed the boy who was in charge.
"Damn it! You dare touch me! I'm going to give you a good interrogation today!"
After saying that, Hou Qiang silently punched the other man in the ribs.
Seeing this, Lu Yuan sighed inwardly. What kind of teammates are these?! They're either incredibly cowardly or incredibly clueless. It's just unbelievable!
So the car took these people away. Along the way, the boy kept shouting, and the girls were crying. After some questioning, Lu Yuan learned that these girls were from out of town and had been tricked out by this guy named Zhang Fan because they had nothing to eat.
They initially thought they could just have some drinks and get some food. Clearly, these girls were naive and inexperienced, unaware of the harsh realities of life, and had been lured away by these scoundrels. They were just looking for a place to have some fun when they unexpectedly encountered Lu Yuan, feeling like they'd been saved. However, Lu Yuan still wanted to take them all back to give statements.
Soon, they arrived at the office. The wailing of the boys immediately attracted the attention of members from other nearby teams. When they saw that the newly arrived captain of the seventh team had actually kidnapped this bully from the inner city, they pretended not to have seen anything and returned to their respective rooms.
However, their conversation revealed a hint of regret. After all, to rise to the rank of captain in the inner city's garrison, one needed not only money but also connections or meritorious service. Clearly, these men were mostly lazy and unambitious, failing to meet any of these criteria.
They could only sigh and wait to see what would happen next when faced with Lu Yuan, who had just taken office.
Lu Yuan sat in his office, a cigarette dangling from his lips, looking at Zhang Fan, whose hands were cuffed to a chair, a hint of pleasure flashing in his eyes.
"Name!"
"You son of a bitch! Let me go right now! Or I'll kill you!" Zhang Fan desperately tried to break free of his handcuffs, but he couldn't move an inch. In fact, the violent movements caused his wrists to be pulled by the handcuffs.
"Heh! Not cooperating? Fine! Then I'll play along and see if you can outlast me!"
After a while, Lu Yuan sat down in front of Zhang Fan with a bowl of steaming noodles, and asked while eating, "Tell me, did you do the thing at Shizijie?"
"What does this have to do with me? What evidence do you have to prove I did it?! Let me go right now!"
Lu Yuan took a bite of noodles and immediately felt a warm sensation all over his body.
"Okay! You've got some tough bones! After I finish eating, I'll play with you properly!"
Lu Yuan continued eating noodles, while Zhang Fan had been groaning for half an hour, his throat was parched. Seeing Lu Yuan eating noodles, his stomach immediately started growling.
Soon, Lu Yuan put down his chopsticks, let out a burp, and stood up.
"I'll ask you one last time, will you cooperate or not!"
"Go ahead and kill me if you dare! You bastard! As long as I'm alive, today will definitely be your death anniversary!" Zhang Fan still didn't realize the seriousness of the situation and started cursing.
Lu Yuan took a deep breath, then walked to the door and said to Niu Ping, who was standing guard outside, "Keep a close watch! Don't let anyone in! And the others too, don't let any of them get away! Do you hear me!"
A hint of hesitation flashed in Niu Ping's eyes as he cautiously looked at Zhang Fan inside and said, "Captain, this Zhang Fan is really no ordinary person! Maybe we should just let it go! We can't afford to mess with him!"
Lu Yuan sneered and said, "Can't afford to offend him? Who does his father think he is that I can't afford to offend? I refuse to believe that this guy thinks he can turn the world upside down! Today I'm going to teach him a lesson!"
After saying that, Lu Yuan turned around and slammed the door shut.
Only then did Zhang Fan realize something was wrong. He looked at Lu Yuan's expression nervously and shouted loudly with some worry, "What are you going to do? You fucking dare to lay a hand on me? Think it over right now!"
Lu Yuan lit a cigarette and walked up to the other person.
"Kid, I don't care who your family is, you've committed a crime today, do you understand?!"
Lu Yuan's eyes were icy cold as he stared intently at Zhang Fan. A look of fear flashed in Zhang Fan's eyes, and he was already trembling as he spoke, but he still suppressed his fear and retorted sharply.
