Chapter 317 Who is the Traitor?

Du Kaiwen patted Lu Yuan on the shoulder: "Okay, then you'll lead the way, everyone else follow!"

So the group quickly ran in the distance, and just then, Du Kaiwen's signal receiver suddenly received a signal.

Because the signals on the islands are isolated from each other, they can only transmit their signals by sending short radio waves.

After taking several measurements of the three constantly lit lights, a serious expression appeared on Dudu Kaiwen's face.

"Damn it, this was premeditated! It seems there's a traitor within our ranks!"

Thinking of this, Du Kaiwen was immediately annoyed. He looked at Lu Yuan again, his eyes filled with anger. He didn't know why Lu Yuan and the others, who seemed like friends, had done such a thing.

After thinking it over and over, he still couldn't understand why Lu Yuan would do this.

So he quickly stopped the orderly next to him.

"Xiao Zhang, you immediately take four teams back to our ship. Remember, do not dock until we bring our ship. Understand? If anyone tries to approach without our permission, open fire immediately!"

The orderly immediately straightened his legs and saluted the other person. Just as he was about to turn around and leave, Du Kaiwen stopped him again and added a sentence.

"Even if Lu Yuan and his group want to board the ship, they are not allowed. Do you understand what I mean?"

A hint of confusion flashed across the orderly's face, but military orders were absolute and left him no time to think. So he immediately saluted and turned to run toward the fourth squad.

At this moment, Lu Yuan was both extremely anxious and extremely excited. He wished he could fly over there right now and retrieve the ship. After all, having the veterans' base repair the ship would be much faster and safer than having Qiao Zhuang's men do it.

With a boat, his chances of returning home were practically guaranteed.

Lu Yuan ran desperately ahead, soon approaching the shipyard, while the soldiers behind him exchanged words, each of them releasing the safety on their guns and slowing down.

Finally, Lu Yuan ran to the place that had taken him there in the car, but now the high gantry was empty.

He froze on the spot, unable to understand why the other party would take the boat away.

"Damn it, we're too late! The boat's been taken away!"

Just as he was about to turn around, he suddenly saw Du Kaiwen leading a few men, holding guns and pointing them at Han Wen and his group as they slowly walked forward.

Du Kaiwen held a pistol in his hand, pointing it directly at Lu Yuan's chest.

"Well done, Lu Yuan, your deception was quite clever! Tell me, what is your purpose in going to such lengths to eliminate us? Is it just to take our territory and warships?"

Upon hearing his words, Lu Yuan looked surprised. He slowly raised his hands above his head and asked, "Captain Du, what do you mean by this? Why did you point a gun at us just now? We're friends, aren't we?"

Upon hearing his words, Du Kaiwen sneered, "Friends? Hmph, you really don't deserve to be our friend! What qualifications do you think you have to be our friend? You just deceived our feelings, got our warships, and even told us the catalyst formula?"

Lu Yuan frowned. He knew there must be some misunderstanding, but seeing all the soldiers pointing their guns at them, he was speechless.

"Captain Du, if you don't believe me, you can take me back! There must be some misunderstanding. I'll accept any investigation! This really has nothing to do with me. Also, what exactly happened?"

"Still playing dumb with me? How long are you going to keep this up? You tricked us into coming here, and we brought our elite troops to help you seize the ship, but you despicably sent people to attack our headquarters. What are you trying to do?"

When Lu Yuan heard this, his face turned pale. He couldn't understand how anyone could know their plan. Lu Yuan was so confused that he felt like he was in deep trouble. This matter was completely inexplicable. What he was most worried about now was what had happened in the camp.

"Captain Du, there must be some misunderstanding. We really didn't do anything. We've come all the way from District 5 just to get home. We really didn't have any other intentions!"

"Stop talking nonsense! Tie them all up and keep a close watch on them!"

Then several soldiers walked up to Lu Yuan with angry eyes and tied him up tightly. The gun and dagger in Lu Yuan's hand were taken away. Du Kaiwen was still a little unhappy. He walked up to Lu Yuan and ripped off his shiny epaulets.

"You do not deserve our medal of honor!"

Lu Yuan opened his mouth as if to say something, but he didn't. He was still thinking about who had betrayed him, but he couldn't figure out who it was.

If it were Han Wen and his group, Lu Yuan simply wouldn't believe it, because they had come from District 5 with him. They had been through thick and thin together, and didn't know much about this place. How could they possibly collude with Qiao Zhuang's people to deceive them?

With the search for the ship over, Lu Yuan and his group were roughly pushed onto a warship, where more than a dozen soldiers guarded them to prevent any possibility of suicide or escape.
