When the people nearby saw that it was Lu Yuan, they quickly made way for him.
Lu Yuan approached and took a closer look. The deceased were not very old. Although their faces were dirty, their approximate ages could still be discerned. They were mostly in their early twenties.
Moreover, Lu Yuan had met these people before; they were from his camp, not outsiders. Although they hadn't exchanged many words, Lu Yuan still had some impression of them.
Seeing Lu Yuan's gloomy expression, everyone around him lowered their heads and dared not utter a sound.
"Who did this?" Lu Yuan asked in a low voice.
Immediately, even the sounds of people working nearby stopped, and more and more people gathered around.
The news spread quickly, and some people in the old camp recognized the faces of the dead and immediately panicked.
Seeing that no one spoke, Lu Yuan asked again, "Who discovered it?"
After a while, a middle-aged man slowly walked out of the crowd.
"Boss Lu... it was... it was me who found them. I found these people in the mountains outside!"

After looking around for a while, Lu Yuan didn't make any new discoveries. The ravine wasn't very deep, only about ten meters deep. Further in, there were piles of rubble, and there wasn't anywhere nearby to hide anything.
So Lu Yuan turned to leave, but when he saw the place Qin Hai was pointing to, he suddenly remembered something.
“It takes more than ten minutes to get from here to the camp entrance. This man is Huang Feng’s subordinate. Their work area is in the East Mountain, and the surrounding area is all tents. So he has to go around the tents to work in the cave in the East Mountain. This round trip takes half an hour!”

"Have the deceased been properly taken care of? Have their families had any strong reactions?"
Du Heng's face was tinged with sadness: "Alas! One of them had just gotten married, and less than half a month later, he died. Another had a younger brother, and the rest are all alone!
