"Holy crap! It's so heavy? You actually managed to lift it a little?" Zhou Tongzhang's face turned red as he looked at Lu Yuan, somewhat incredulous.
"Haha! Brother Zhou, have you been feeling weak lately?" Lu Yuan joked.
Zhou Tong blushed again: "What are you talking about! What am I afraid of! This table must weigh at least a ton, and you can actually lift it a little bit? Are you even human?!"
"Forget it, when we get back, let's find some people to help us move it!"
Lu Yuan quickly changed the subject. He didn't want to tell Zhou Tong that he had gained his strength by eating the golden fruit. In fact, if Lu Yuan really wanted to move it, he could do it by himself, but that was too unbelievable. Moving a mahogany table weighing more than a ton by himself with his bare hands sounded terrifying.
The two then searched through the ruins again, but found not much, as many things had been deformed by the water. Although the water had receded, these things were completely ruined.
However, there were still some usable items, such as a well-sealed printer, several computers that were packed in metal boxes and had not been taken away, a bunch of data hard drives, and a large number of unopened model kits, all labeled as gifts for certain people. Most importantly, there was an entire wine cabinet full of various fine wines. Although many of the bottles were broken, most of the wines were still well preserved.
As for other daily necessities, the two found quite a few. Apart from the unusable items, they carried the rest into the car.
The textile factory has been almost completely searched. There wasn't much left to take with them. After all, the earthquake happened only a short time ago. Before the earthquake, there were floods and high temperatures. Back then, people went everywhere to find usable things in order to survive. Anything that couldn't be used was destroyed. Not much was left for them.
They looked around at other places. This was a development zone with many factories nearby, but they were all in subsidence areas. They had just found a spinning mill, but their search hadn't yielded much, so Lu Yuan wasn't very interested. Zhou Tong also suggested that they go back first and talk about it later when they brought more people.
Back at the camp, Zhou Tong was busy looking for people, while Lu Yuan locked himself in his office because he had something important to do.
Upon entering the dimensional space, Lu Yuan quickly found two giant fluffy balls among the sheep.
"Wow! They've grown so big?" Lu Yuan couldn't believe that the sheep that had eaten the golden fruit could grow so large, even larger than an ordinary cow. The sheep's wool was so thick that, apart from a tiny bit peeking out from the tip of their noses to identify their heads, the rest of their bodies were completely covered in fine, fluffy wool.
Reaching out to touch the sheep's wool, I felt a warm sensation on my hand, and it was incredibly fluffy. Gently brushing away some of the grass, the fluffy "big ball" looked just like a snowball in winter, so adorable.
"Baa baa baa," the sheep bleated, seemingly pleading for help. Lu Yuan looked at the two big guys and immediately smiled.
Lu Yuan found a hair clipper and began to shave the little sheep—no, it should now be called the giant sheep.
The sheep's fur was so thick that he had to shave them completely before they could move around normally again.
With Lu Yuan's clumsy movements, the sheep would occasionally let out a few mournful cries, trying to escape, but it was completely unable to break free from Lu Yuan's large hands and could only let him do as he pleased.
The shaved sheep was covered in wounds and ran away in a flash. The wounds weren't big, but there were quite a few. It was covered in blood and looked exactly like a plucked chicken, which was quite comical.
Looking at the wool covering the ground, Lu Yuan reached out and grabbed it. It was soft and warm, with the wool curled together. Each hair was of very uniform thickness and did not prick at all, making it very comfortable to touch.
The second sheep struck Lu Yuan as very strange, because when he reached behind the sheep to shave its wool, he touched several small fleshy lumps.
"Huh? There's still something else? Could it be..."
So Lu Yuan used his strength, grabbed a small ball of flesh in each hand and pulled it out. Two little lambs, their fur still a bit damp, appeared in his hands and began sucking hard on Lu Yuan's fingers.
Wow! That's amazing! They had babies in just one night!
Lu Yuan was overjoyed, so he quickened his pace and soon shaved the ewe completely bald.
The bleating of sheep could still be heard from inside the wool. Lu Yuan could only carefully separate the wool bit by bit and pull out seven more lambs from it.
"Wow! Ten piglets in one litter! That's quite a prolific breed! They're like an old sow! Haha! That's amazing!"
The little lambs, each one a tiny ball of flesh, nestled in their mother's arms, nursing. Each one closed its eyes in blissful happiness.
The pure white wool made Lu Yuan realize that these things were all good.
Just then, a voice came from outside the door.
"Where's your leader?" Zhou Tong asked anxiously.
"Boss Lu is inside!"
Zhou Tong scratched his head: "There's no one there! I just went in, he wasn't there!"
The two young men on duty at the entrance were momentarily stunned.
"Huh? Where did they go? They seemed to be inside just a moment ago."
Zhou Tong waved his hand: "Never mind, never mind. If you see your boss later, tell him to come find me. Tell him I've found textile workers and got the lifting equipment all set up. Ask him if he still wants to go!"
