Huang Feng desperately chased after the main group ahead, but in an instant he realized he had been tricked.
"Oh no, something's happened!"
The thought immediately flashed through Huang Feng's mind. He asked a few thugs who ran over from the front, and learned that a large amount of wood had appeared on the mountaintop at some point.
These logs seemed to slide down from the mountaintop, rushing towards the crowd with tremendous kinetic energy, and those in front of them suffered heavy casualties because they could not dodge in time.

Seeing that the person beside him hadn't moved, a look of fear flashed across Huang Feng's face.

Huang Feng then turned to leave, but was stopped by several thugs. After exchanging glances, they revealed a look of wanting to silence him.

"You bastards, what are you all standing there for? Trying to rebel!"
Huang Feng deliberately raised his voice a few decibels, trying to get the attention of those around him.
But clearly his voice was not louder than the cries and shouts from all around him.
Several thugs quietly surrounded them.
"Brother Huang, you keep sending us charging into battle, I suspect you're in cahoots with that Lu Yuan!"
Huang Feng felt a moment of panic upon hearing this.
"Don't you dare make baseless accusations! Without any evidence, what makes you think I colluded with Lu Yuan? I have an irreconcilable feud with Lu Yuan, why would I help him!"
However, the others showed no intention of listening to his explanation. Suddenly, Huang Feng felt his hand being grabbed, and he struggled to break free.
However, several people behind him kicked him in the back of the knee, and Huang Feng fell directly to the ground, his face hitting the hard ground, scraping off a layer of skin, and he felt cold air rising up his face.
"From now on, we will no longer obey your orders!"
Knowing that his chances of winning were slim, Huang Feng desperately twisted his body and shouted loudly to the people around him.
"You bastards, are you trying to rebel? I've gone through so much trouble to turn this camp into this mess, and now you want to be ungrateful? Go ahead and kill me if you dare!"
However, the person next to him sneered.
"Tie Huang Feng up. We'll find Lu Yuan later. That should be enough of a pledge of allegiance!"
Upon hearing this, Huang Feng's face turned ashen. He knew that no matter how he explained, the people behind him wouldn't listen to him anymore, because they were no match for Lu Yuan this time. The moment the giant log rolled down from the mountaintop, they understood that they were truly finished, and the scales of victory had completely tipped in Lu Yuan's favor.
Even if they had a large number of men, they were no match for Lu Yuan. Continuing to fight like this would only be a waste of their manpower.
Finally, the screams ahead were no longer as intense as before, and the logs on the mountaintop had stopped falling for more than ten minutes. Looking around, the entire valley entrance was covered with logs, and many people were lying on the ground, already lifeless. Because the bald man was worried about an accident, he and his men were chasing after them at a leisurely pace. As soon as the incident happened, they planned to retreat, but fortunately, the thugs were fast enough to stop them.
"Bald guy, something bad has happened! Our men have been ambushed and we need your reinforcements!"
The bald man was shocked, realizing that what had happened was serious. However, when he looked at the people who had come, Huang Feng was not among them.
"Where's your boss, Huang? We can't find him anywhere."
The leader squeezed his eyes hard, forcing out a tear from the corner of his eye. His face was filled with painful memories: "It's all my fault. I didn't protect Boss Huang. He was hit by a piece of wood and now he has a broken leg. Please, you must save him!"
As she spoke, the other person cried and reached out to grab the bald man. The bald man was pondering whether to help when he suddenly felt his hand being grabbed.
"What are you trying to do?" The bald man's voice trembled as he tried to break free from the other man's grasp.
But to his surprise, several people immediately pounced on him and subdued him and several West District managers behind him.
"Whether we get out of here alive today depends on how important you are. Take your men and let's go find Lu Yuan!"
Meanwhile, Lu Yuan was whistling at the mouth of the valley because he had not found any trace of Da Huang.
