So everyone left their extra equipment on the outer edge of the glacier. They planned to get ice, so they had to get to the iceberg. The sea ice floating on the sea was not thick enough, so they did not plan to take the ice from there.
The group trudged across the ice, each feeling incredibly small in the face of the massive glacier. The biting wind lashed at them, threatening to lift them into the air at any moment. Lu Yuan, as before, tied a chain around each person's waist, binding them together to prevent anyone from falling behind.
They chose a relatively easy path and slowly made their way to the foot of the glacier, treading on the not-so-stable sea ice.
Lu Yuan didn't know the exact size of the glacier, but looking down through the deep blue sea, he could still sense that the small mountain-like thing protruding from the glacier was just a small part of it.
After finding a relatively quiet place, the group decided to go and get the ice.

However, in such extremely cold weather, the snow becomes exceptionally hard.

They gently chipped away all the ice from the body. To prevent the body from being broken along with the ice, they had to carefully chip away at it little by little.
Finally, they managed to get the man out. He was carrying a bag on his back, and Lu Yuan was interested in it. So he ripped open the bag, which was already frozen solid, and all sorts of tools fell out.
These tools were nothing more than hammers and chisels, not very useful. Obviously, this person should be a member of a mountaineering team. However, Lu Yuan found a clue on the name tag on his clothes.
"Scientific Expedition Team Antarctica No. 63?" Lu Yuan wiped the nameplate on his chest, read it aloud after recognizing the characters.
"An Antarctic expedition team? No way, how did this person get frozen here?"
