The huge block of ice that had just been cut off slid down the smooth ice surface, crashing against the surrounding cave walls.
As the acceleration increased, the ice block knocked down all the obstacles it encountered, and the team members frantically grabbed onto anything they could get their hands on.
At this moment, Lu Yuan noticed the danger in time and immediately pulled out his ice pick from his waist. With a "crack", the ice pick struck the ice surface hard, and he immediately steadied himself. In his other hand, he was still tightly holding Xiao Shan.
"Quickly grab some tools to secure yourself! Don't slip!"

Lu Yuan felt as if the events of those few dozen seconds were a rollercoaster, causing his heart to soar high and then plummet low.
He let out a long sigh of relief, then turned his head with difficulty to look at his teammates below, only to find that they were all hanging on the ice.
"Everything is alright. Is anyone injured?"
Next, everyone began to report their situation. Apart from Mr. Lu's arm being squeezed, no one else was seriously injured.
Xiao Shan's face was trembling with tears, her voice shaking slightly: "Lu Yuan, Lu Yuan, what's wrong? Is your head bleeding?"
Lu Yuan then realized that something that looked like blood had been poured on his head, and he just wiped it off.
He raised his hand to look at the blood in front of him. He didn't know what kind of blood it was. The warmth had disappeared, and the blood was beginning to congeal.

After hearing Lu Yuan's words, Xiao Shan finally felt relieved. Everyone climbed up desperately and finally stood on a slightly flat place. However, the scene in front of them stunned everyone.

Seeing this scene, Lu Yuan couldn't help but think of the movie he had watched before the apocalypse, The Meg. Although it had been a long time since it was released, the shock that this science fiction film had caused him was still quite significant.
The film tells the story of a shark discovered in the deep sea. After being artificially bred and genetically modified, it becomes a huge, bloodthirsty, and ferocious creature that preys on other marine animals. When it is hungry, it will even attack humans.
Looking at the shredded flesh that resembled rags, the group fell silent. They wondered what kind of monster it was that could swallow a body several meters long in one gulp.
In their understanding, apart from the great white shark in the ocean, there are no other carnivorous animals with such a huge body. Giant creatures like whale sharks and humpback whales only prey on fish, shrimp, and seaweed in the ocean.
Just as Lu Yuan was about to tell everyone to leave this awful place, the same thing happened again in other places. The glacier shook violently once more, and then the group found some whale carcasses at the exit.
"No, we have to get out of here as soon as possible. We don't know if this thing will attack us, and we can't withstand even one round of its attack!"
Lu Yuan's face was grim as he looked around at the scene and said in a low voice, "Let's find an exit as soon as possible. If we are trapped here for too long, we may end up like these scientific expedition team members!"
So the group began searching for a way out. Because of the recent collapse, all their exit points were blocked. To leave the glacier, they had to find another way or carve out a new one.
However, the problem they are facing now is that they don't know exactly where they are on the glacier, and if they wander around aimlessly, they may get further and further away from the exit.
