Previously, he had even harbored a slight desire to kill it, but upon seeing its full form in that instant, Lu Yuan even considered retreating.
Suddenly, two huge jets of water shot out from the beast's nostrils. One of the jets splashed water directly onto Lu Yuan, giving him a strong, fishy stench.
The behemoth, like a giant, slowly swam to the opposite side of Lu Yuan. It was as big as a small truck and its narrow eyes exuded an inviolable aura.
It stared intently at Lu Yuan, hot air billowing from its nostrils. It submerged its chin beneath the water's surface, and the two of them remained still on the sea.
Lu Yuan felt like his legs were about to cramp up. He didn't know what to do next, and he even forgot what he was supposed to do when he came here.
With a roar, the giant beast opened its blood-red maw and howled at the sky. Lu Yuan even felt that the sound seemed to come from hell, making his liver and gall tremble.
Lu Yuan had even prepared to bring the giant beast into his resource space, but after glancing at it, he realized that the beast didn't seem to intend to eat him immediately.
The giant beast stared intently at Lu Yuan, as if he possessed something that it desired, and it was now trying to communicate with Lu Yuan through its eyes.
Lu Yuan was trembling all over, standing motionless in confrontation with the giant beast. After thinking for a while, Lu Yuan felt that waiting like this was not a solution.
After all, his upper body was currently on the water's surface, where the temperature was tens of degrees below zero. He suddenly realized that the giant beast seemed to be staring at the fruit in his hand.
"Don't tell me you want to eat this fruit too?" Lu Yuan looked at the giant beast, then looked down at the fruit in his hand, and then gently tossed it to the ground.
Sure enough, a look of hunger appeared in the eyes of the giant beast. It opened its mouth wide, and its huge, sailboat-like tongue snatched the golden fruit into its mouth in mid-air.
Seemingly still wanting more, the giant beast had no intention of letting Lu Yuan leave. It just kept staring at him, its eyes radiating an undisguised desire.
"Wow, you're addicted!"
Lu Yuan cursed under his breath, then took out several more golden fruits and tossed them into the air. The giant beast accepted them all without hesitation, stretching out its enormous tongue and licking them into its mouth one by one.
After Lu Yuan took out more than twenty golden fruits, the giant beast finally swayed its body contentedly, and the longing in its eyes seemed to have lessened considerably.
Lu Yuan suddenly wondered if this giant beast could become his pet. However, when this thought popped into his head, he was instantly startled by his own absurd idea.
"What the hell is wrong with me? How could I have such a bold idea? I should be thanking God that this behemoth didn't eat me. I actually want to keep it as my pet. But if I really do keep this big guy as my pet, where am I supposed to put it?"
The behemoth looked at Lu Yuan, then at the dimensional crystal pendant on his chest, its eyes gleaming with greed. Suddenly, it opened its massive mouth, and a huge tongue lifted Lu Yuan and the kayak beneath it.
