To everyone's surprise, a familiar figure came into view.
Qi Liang stood on the high deck and yelled at the people below, "Damn it, this thing has only been running for a few days, why is it already having problems? Get down there and check it right now!"
Several people began to explain, gesturing wildly.
"Boss Qi, the temperature at the bottom of the cabin is too low. The engine is short of antifreeze and is frozen solid. We've tried many methods, but we simply can't start it!"
"Then let's think of a way! We can't just leave the ship stranded on the sea. There's no village or shop in sight; we're all going to die here sooner or later!"
"But...but we've almost run out of wood. If we want the engine to keep running, we'll have to keep burning firewood. If that happens, we might not be able to hold out for long, and we'll all freeze to death!"
Qi Liang's chest heaved up and down; he was absolutely furious with these people.
How could these people be so stupid? Can't they understand that if the ship doesn't move, they'll starve to death at sea anyway?
They're cherishing every bit of firewood now, but they're still stuck in the same place. This dragging on only prolongs their death.
The other two ships seemed to be experiencing similar situations, with the people on both ships standing on the decks discussing with Qi Liang how to proceed.
After a while, Qi Liang and his men got to work. Several bright torches rose from the sea, and they went down into the cabin with the torches, then lit the wood to heat the engine.
Seeing Qi Liang in this predicament, Lu Yuan felt a strange sense of satisfaction. This guy had tried to cause trouble more than once or twice, but he never expected to be trapped here.
Especially since they wanted to stall for time and leave first, but they didn't expect to be waiting for them here.
So Lu Yuan deliberately adjusted the rudder and steered the ship in the direction the other party was heading.
When they were about a hundred meters away from the boat in front of the mountain, Lu Yuan stopped the boat and shouted at the boat opposite.
"Qi Liang, what's going on? You guys were running pretty fast, why are you stopping here? Are you waiting for us?"
After hearing the sound, Qi Liang glanced in Lu Yuan's direction and indeed saw Lu Yuan at the bow of the ship.
"How did you catch up so quickly?" Qi Liang was immediately surprised.
Lu Yuan was incredibly fast. They had set off a whole morning earlier than him, but he caught up with them so quickly.
"Did our arrival disappoint you?"
Qi Liang gritted his teeth, his heart filled with resentment: "If you came here to laugh at me, then I'll grant your wish now!"
"Haha, to be honest, I'm actually quite happy right now, especially seeing the awful look on your face!"
"Let me tell you, Lu Yuan, don't push your luck. Our ships have only had a minor problem, but your ships will run into trouble sooner or later! Don't be too happy!"
"Oh! Really? But we're not really busy right now! By the way, would you like something to eat?"
After saying that, Lu Yuan took a barbecue grill from the cockpit, on which fresh steaks and some skewers were being grilled.
Lu Yuan moved a chair over and, in the cold wind, picked up a skewer and stuffed it into his mouth.
The mutton was grilled until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Sprinkled with cumin and chili powder, it was incredibly flavorful. Every bite was bursting with oily aroma. Just then, the wind was blowing towards Qi Liang's side. They were already starving, and seeing Lu Yuan eating meat skewers, they all swallowed hard.
"Wow, it smells so good! Want to try some?" Lu Yuan reached out and waved two skewers in the air.
Qi Liang was so angry that he almost pulled out his gun to fight him, but he knew that he was no match for Lu Yuan and his men. He was well aware of his own limitations and preferred to use cunning tactics rather than confront them head-on.
"You just wait, you'll regret this one day! So what if you got there early? You still have to queue to get in! Humph!" Qi Liang gritted his teeth.
Then he saw a plane parked on Lu Yuan's deck, which surprised him.
Lu Yuan also saw the other person's expression and sneered inwardly: "Are you curious about how my plane ended up on the ship again?"
Qi Liang didn't speak, but the look in his eyes betrayed his inner thoughts.
"Come on, Shiquan, come out and have some barbecue!" Lu Yuan shouted at the top of his lungs towards the cabin.
Soon, the cabin door at the back opened with a "click," and Shi Quan peeked out. Seeing that it was Lu Yuan calling him, he quickly closed the door and went over.
"Boss, you called me?"
Lu Yuan nodded slightly, then pulled a chair from the side and placed it in front of him.
"Come sit down and have some meat skewers. It'll be a good opportunity to admire your enemy!"
Shi Quan was stunned for a moment. He couldn't think of who his enemy was. Suddenly, he saw three ships floating in the distance on the sea. Qi Liang was standing on the largest ship.
"It's you?" Shi Quan said this through gritted teeth, showing just how intense his hatred for Qi Liang was.
"That's right, didn't expect that, did you? We meet again so soon! But today doesn't seem like the right day for revenge! How about we let them go for now?"
Lu Yuan's voice sounded very casual, as if Qi Liang was a lamb waiting to be slaughtered, tied to a table, and Lu Yuan and Shi Quan were like butchers, casually chatting about how to get rid of this fat sheep.
